Blakeland Media Cabinet
from Parksville, Kentucky,  Jan 9, 2009

This item was shipped promptly and packed very well. My husband put it together in about a half hour and we have a 48 inch flat screen TV sitting on it. I would have liked the color to be a little lighter but it fits in alright. I put some DVDS inside the shelves behind the little doors but I could only stand up one row. The other row I had to lay down. The shelves are adjustable but it would have been nice if they were about an inch taller. For the money it was an excellent buy as it is wood and not the presswood junk you see so much in the stores. I would recommend it to other buyers as it is well made.

Love it!
from St. Louis, MO,  Mar 30, 2011

This entertainment unit is exactly what I was looking for. Fits great in a corner, a very nice dark color, plenty of storage space, easy to put together and for a great price. I am very happy with it.

Solid Piece
from New York, NY,  Feb 19, 2011

I live in NYC where space is always at a premium and was looking for something small like this. Its solid construction and went together pretty easily. Everything is screwed together and is incredibly sturdy once assembled. It looks great too - although its a little darker than pictured, but that could be my computers resolution too. If your looking for a media cabinent for a small area this is it. Same quality as one that would go in the $600 range. Highly recommended.

Economical, small media cabinet solution
from San Francisco,  Dec 7, 2010

Hi folks, Like some other reviewers here I live in a small space. This media cabinet was perfect for my needs - and fits nicely into a ~10' x 10' room. Build quality is good for the price, and assembly was easier than I might have surmised. I use mine to house a multi-media PC, digital tuner, cable box/modem, and some accessories. Although there is a hole for wiring in the backing, as well as a hole between the shelves for interconnects, I elected to keep the back off for better wiring access (and also cooling for my PC and external drives). If you're looking for a comprehensive media cabinet you might keep looking...but for a small, economical multi-media rack/storage this unit works great.

Good quality
from San Francisco, CA,  Sep 22, 2010

We were looking for a very specific size for our TV/media stand, and this is one of the few that fits perfectly. The quality of the materials and how it is put together is quite good (I was impressed) - assembly was pretty easy too. The hardest thing was getting all of my cables through the relatively small opening in the back panel. I only have a DVR, DVD player and Apple TV, and it was hard to make them all fit due to the narrow size of the cabinet (which I wanted though) and the small opening for the cables. Great buy and price overall.

tv stand
from Rochester, MN,  Aug 25, 2010

The tv stand was well constructed and easy to put together. We really like it, it was a little smaller than we would have preferred, but we chose it anyway. It's very nice looking.

Incredible
from Fairfield County, CT,  Jun 12, 2010

I purchased a new home and my intention was to purchase a 46' flat screen television. With light wood floors, I decided on this product and I have absolutely no regrets. It is sturdy, accepts the 46' Samsung very well and it's dark rich espresso color totally works in the living room. I highly recommend this product as you shouldn't be disappointed. You will need two people to carry this tv stand into the house. Enjoy!

Adequate
from Los Angeles on my way to Nashville,  Apr 29, 2010

This is an ok piece. It's probably a bit overpriced in terms of what you actually get and how it looks. Measure carefully--it's quite low to the floor.

good quality
from rumson, nj,  Apr 22, 2010

made of decent wood and finished pretty well. it took a bit of time to assemble, but nothing was difficult except that the bolts for the knobs on the doors were too short to hold them on.

Good for My Application
from Denver CO,  Feb 2, 2010

As others have commented it's a little small, which is what I was looking for. but check the dimensions. The color of mine was a ver dark brown with a very little red, which goes well with my Samsung touch of color LCD. Mine does not suggest cherry as other have commented. I was looking a long time before I found this one. Overallt he quality is pretty good given the price.

Good
from Portland, OR,  Jan 4, 2010

The best part of this unit is that it is not a large overimposing media center that will dominate a room. It fits a 46" TV perfectly, looks nice, sits nice and low (good eye level with couch). Our biggest concern was the size and looks, and this unit did the job. Quality of materials was good, easy enough to put together, just follow the directions since you are assembling upside down and backward, peices can be put in backward if you do not follow directions. This is not the cheapest thing out there, but it was a good value for what we got, but nothing special.

Small Stand
from Santa Rosa, CA,  Sep 11, 2009

One of the most difficult things about buying something online is you have no idea how it will look or fit in your home. This "media cabinet" is an excellent case in point. It is extremely SMALL. I blame myself for not measuring out the dimensions but it looked so good on the screen. And, the price was right. The price actually is not that great of a deal. This unit will provide enough space in the middle for 3 maybe 4 media receivers/units. These days, that is not nearly enough. Plus, it is short. Depending on the size of your TV it is very likely you'll have to raise it. It looks nice, though. If it weren't such a hassle and cost to return it, I would have. Just take heed and MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE. Good luck!

Great piece...looks and is well made, nice color. Not exactly espresso, which I think is more of a black. This actually has a bit of red in it...its dark wood, not as red as cherry, but does have a hint of red. I actually prefer it to espresspo.

Great Tv stand
Anonymous  from Springfield, VA,  Aug 10, 2009

This is an awesome TV stand for small places. It has nice storage on both sides for magazines and or papers as well as DVD's kept behind the glass doors. Very clean lines and easy assembly, took me about 20 min.

Excellent value
Anonymous  from Huntsville, TX,  Aug 7, 2009

The media cabinet was fairly easy to assemble. There were no holes for the door magnets on one section but we made them ourselves with no problem. I was dubious about the quality of the product as it came out of the box, BUT it looks very expensive assembled. Everything fits well, the doors hang exactly and the magazine racks on either end are an added bonus. I would recommend this product to anyone.

bonus for the money
 from Boston,  Jun 25, 2009

After perusing a number of sites looking for an inexpensive media cabinet, I came back to Overstock. This cabinet looks more expensive than it was, and the solid wood makes it sturdy as well as attractive. I am quite contemporary in style, and although this is in my view rather traditional, it fits in with a "clean look" and I am more than satisfied with this purchase.
