I bought this writing desk a few days ago. Despite their fast shipping, this writing desk is very easy to put them together. The desk is not that small, it still has space available after I put my laptop there and other paper works. Since I don’t have that much room available in my bedroom, it fits perfectly in my room with limited space. I really recommend it to people who want a comfortable workplace with a little space.

Once its assembled it looks great, but the screws that came with it were very poor quality and broke. We ended up using different screws. Also the assembly instructions are awful, Luckily my husband figured it all out by himself. For someone who is not that handy you will definitely have problems putting it together. In our case it would have been more trouble to return it.

Pros: Fits in the spot I have perfectly at 30" wide. Sturdy construction once together Black color is standard and matches all other black furniture Cons: It was a bit tricky to put together by myself. (I did have to enlist my kids to help balance a couple of pieces) The drawer sits in about 1/8" too far (but that's just my OCD liking drawers to be flush with the rest of the desk) Desk surface is a bit smaller than expected at 28 3/4" x 20" (legs make it a 30" width) Pleasantly surprised at how well the desk works for the price. A great deal if you are looking for a small work station

The quality of desk once put together is as expected for the price. I found it hard to put together and one of the boards split when putting a screw in and had to be wood glued. Overall though I am very pleased with what I got for the money.

Once the desk was FINALLY assembled, it was adorable. It looks just like the picture (except for the paint that we chipped off during a volitile assembly). I dont think I have ever seen my husband so angry or curse so much as when he put this together. He is an intellegent and handy guy and he was ready to throw this peice out the window. The instructions were apparently horrendous and there were so many little pieces. When we thought we were finally done, the drawer didnt line up and he had to reconfigure it. A total of about 3 hours from start to finish. I do love the finished product, but would not go through that headache again.

I liked the style of the desk and thought the size would be perfect for the bedside space. When we got this out of the box to assemble I knoew it was going to be a challenge. I usually do the assembly on products that I purchase. I was stumped with ths one. There were lots of small pieces and te directions left much to be desired. It took my husband nd I almost 2 hours to put this one together. Not everything lined up perfectly. This desk is cheaply made and while it looks OK I don not exptect that it will last very long with any use. If you only want it to hold a lamp you may be OK. I would not recommend this product.

This was one big mistake. Incomprehensible instructions. An exercise in futility. Sent it back.

To put the desk together is not as difficult as it sounded, especially once you realize that the sliding bars (K1 & K2) each a piece of sliding bar so there are 2 K1's and 2 K 2's. Other than that, it's a very simple desk to assemble. The only thing you might not expect but the information is given is it is a low desk and the average computer chair won't fit or allow you to sit into the desk. The drawer is decent quality and the desk is a decent space-saver with its small frame.

When putting the desk together not all screws could be screwed in completely. Also the drawer does not shut flush to the table. Looks cheap.

Screw holes for the drawer rails on the desk itself don't line up with the holes in the rails themselves. In order for the drawer to be flush with the top, you'll need to drill new holes for the rails.

This desk is exactly as the picture shows it. It is a nice quality and perfect size for our imac desktop computer. It would also be great for a laptop. I put the wireless keyboard and the mouse in the drawer when not in use. The only bad thing is that the directions are terrible. We were googling for some help! Tired to put it together serval times with 3 different friends and then we finally got it together! I would recommend but only putting good because of the stress of figuring out the assembly instructions

Well unless you are an engineer this is very difficult to assemble! We counted 106 pieces and multiple screws, dowels that have to be glued...still have not finished putting together!!!

The desk arrived very quickly. The desk is very easy to assemble, and fits perfectly into the corner of my small room. The desk is very stable and looks great with the rest of my furniture. The size is perfect for my laptop and the desk is small enough to be unobtrussive. Great buy and would recommend to anyone looking for a classy, but smaller desk.

Needed a small desk to fit in a 36" alcove. Proved very hard to find one that wasn't "school" style. This desk was perfect. Be warned however, the instructions are drawings only and not very easy to follow. It took me a couple of hours to assemble. But once done it is great and just what I was looking for.
