Every piece came in excellent condition, no scratches, dings etc.Assembly was so fast, i put this thing together in about 40 minutes or so. Very detailed instructions; easy to follow. It looks beautiful, not cheap at all and my 52" LCD HDTV looks GREAT on it. the sliding doors glide very smoothly. Over all i LOVE this TV stand and i made an excellent choice buying this one.Shipping was also very fast I got it within a few days and didn't have any issues at all with this purchase

The stand was easy to put together and looks nice. It's not very big visually, which I like. The problem I have, and it's because I didn't notice it in the photos, is that you can only have DVDs displayed vertically on *one* shelf on each side, even though there are two shelves. If you don't mind pulling out your DVDs to get to stuff in the back, that might be okay for you. If you have a lot of DVDs, this will be problematic. If you were planning to use the side shelf areas for other components, you will need to drill your own holes into the back of the unit.

WE also used carpenters glue (after reading other reviews) and the piece is sturdy. Solid. The glass doors are a bit tricky to install to ensure they fit in the grooves. It is a great piece of furniture. Excellent quality.

Arrived in excellent condition, and looks great in the location it was purchased for. Only complaint is the hardware provided for assembly. The locking bolts wouldn't tighten when turned, and would shake loose - had to glue to secure. Otherwise, I would have given it an excellent rating.

Love it! Stand took about 1.5 hours to assemble and came with all the parts. So far I have been pleased with the stand and it holds up my 47" flat screen great!

when i received this product, my first observation is how well packaged it was. this is an example of great packaging. the packaging material was not excessive nor insufficent. product assembly was mostly good; instruction text and diagrams were clear. as with many such products, this item gains its rigidity when the back piece is installed during the assembly. it seemed weak as i assembled it (probably due to cam bolt/lock issues mentioned below), but i imagined that the back piece would miraculously give it great strength when applied; indeed it was so. the cam locks had a tendency to come loose. the cam bolt threaded plastic sockets would have benefitted from being glued in place at the factory. if i had carpenters glue i would have done it myself. overall, i would place the assembly process and accompanying instructions equal to or better than ikea furniture. i am happy with this product purchase.

I've only had this TV stand for a few weeks, but I'm sure I won't have any problems with it. Very sturdy, easy to put together, the glass doors slide easily without getting jammed or being loud. The only problem is that it is a magnet for dust, I have to dust it everyday. I could also lay the blame on my dog for that one, she's hyper and stirs up a lot of dust. Maybe people without pets won't have that problem.

The product is very very poor quality. There tightners they give you do not do increase the sturdiness of the product. Its the same type of construction required that used in most Ikea Products. After builidng it the first time and tightening everything as specified, the stand was very wobbily. I had to descontruct and use wood glue to reinforce it. The second time around with glue mad it sturdy. Do not buy

My husband and I were looking for the perfect tv stand, and it took awhile to find this one. I really loved the idea of the sliding glass panes, and my husband is a tech guy so he told me all gadgets need to breathe. This tv stand definitely allows that. It was pretty simple to put together. Once it was all finished it was amazing. But it definitely makes you rethink your tv size! We now want a larger tv, but thats fine with us. The doors slide great. The look of the stand is gorgeous. I love that it is modern, yet traditional. I had to have traditional. I love the cozy feel. It stores a lot in it. We have quite a few dvds and it still hasn't filled up the stands shelves. I'd definitely recommend buying this. You won't regret it. It's so sleek, and you WILL receive compliments! It fits so nicely with a lot of decor. BUY IT!

1. Strong chemical odor: When I opened the box, I noticed a strong chemical smell. Several days after assembling the unit, cleaning it several times with multiple cleaning products, and leaving all windows open to air out my apartment, he same chemical smell lingers in the air. This odor is awful and causing a minor headache. If the smell doesnt go away soon I'm going to sell the tv stand. 2. Plastic screw covers: They are light brown in color so they do not match the black finish. They are flimsy and fall out easily. 3. When shelves are placed in the center slot, they not tall enough for DVD storage 4. Wire holes in back of center shelves only. No wire holes in back of side shelving space. 5. Bolts do not tighten well

For the money, it's a very good product. It came quickly and was easy enough to put together. It looks sleek and fits my space perfectly. All my components fit nicely and there was enough room for DVDs and Wii stuff. I'm very happy with this media stand.

Received console and went to put together but they sent two panels for the left side and no right side so you would have had to use a rough, unfinished piece of wood if you kept what they sent.....called customer service and waited another week to have new piece sent. Bolts do not tighten properly or tight enough and the entire unit sways left to right......pressed particle board....very cheap for the price. You can find something much nicer for half the price at *** or ***. Would definately NOT RECOMMEND!!

Product is well made and easy to assemble. Instructions could have been written a lot better though. I missed a step of putting the spacing rings that keep the side panels few mms away from the top and bottom board, but I like it that way. Another small issue was that the top board had a small dent in the front, but it is barely visible and I used the furniture pen to hide the small chip. All in all, I am very happy with the purchase. Our 47" TV is sitting very nicely on it.
