When I first bought this item, I was using a high end air mattress and didn't want a box spring, but a simple platform to raise the mattress off the floor. I had such trouble finding a platform that had multiple cross supports that it took me literally years until I came across this. It has metal wave-shaped cross supports combined with some very tough twine in parts. I've been using this bed frame now for several years and it is still in perfect condition, even after being disassembled and moved cross-country. I now use a foam mattress on it, and it works just as well with that. There has been no deterioration or problem with the frame whatsoever, and I'm not a lightweight. The only thing re assembly is that I'm a puny weakling, and needed someone's assistance. It's not complicated or difficult to assemble but it's easier with two people, so one can hold the parts in position with the other puts on the bolts etc. Basically the top is two flat platform pieces, with four central legs and four corner legs, all of which sort of work together to stabilize the whole thing. When assembled, the platform cross supports don't look like they are lying 100% flat; but it doesn't matter at all. The other thing that was great about this item was the price, especially for such a sturdy reliable piece (most things I looked at were way too flimsy or otherwise ridiculously expensive). I got it with free shipping; and it arrived in a couple of days.

Pros: the bed frame is sturdy and exactly as described. The assembly wasn't difficult, but the frame is weighty and thus wasn't easy to maneuver through the assembly process. The height of the frame provided for lots of underbed storage space, which is why I purchased this particular frame. The cons: not as comfortable as hoped--the bed feels hard with just a mattress on it. Also, there is no way to attach the frame to a headboard. I'm not returning the bed, but would make a different choice if I had a "do-over."

We are very pleased with this product. We wanted this for a spare room and didn't want the expense of buying a whole bed with mattress and boxspring. This was a great price, is very comfortable with just a mattress. It is very sturdy! Good Value!

Very easy to figure out (comes in 3 flat sections plus legs for the full size) and put together by one person, which was a good thing as poorly placed piece of paper with instructions was shredded by the 3 main metal sections during shipping and was totally unreadable. I never put one together before, but had no trouble as very simple to figure out how to do it, plus came with any needed tools. Shipping was much slower than I expected. I couldn't open and decompress the memory foam mattress within its recommended 72 hours of delivery that I had ordered at the same time from Overstock, as it took another whole week for the frame to arrive.

This bed frame is a great value for the price. It is extremely sturdy, has great storage potential and is surprising comfortable with just a mattress on top of the frame. The bed frame does not require a box spring which adds up to additional savings.

I really like this bed frame. It's easy to hide the legs, basic, and doesn't move too much when you get on the bed( unlike the ones with little wheels).I've had it for about a month and I put a 10inch foam mattress on top. It's also a nice height. I'm 5'4'' and I don't feel like I'm jumping up it to get into bed. It's a good deal for a basic frame.

I purchased this product so I did not have to buy a box spring with the mattress and because the product was easily collapsible for moving. Loved the product so much I bought a second one. Great for underneath storage!

Arrived quickly and very easy to put together. I am not very strong, coordinated, or good with tools and I had no problems. Arrives in 3 big pieces that you bolt together and then screw on the legs and then you are done. Great support for the mattress. It is heavy so it does not slide around too much. It provides lots of underbed storage which was why I chose it over the other similar frame on Overstock. All of the legs are straight up and down, so you have the full area under the bed for bins, boxes, etc.

I searched for a bedframe that would accommodate my new air mattress. I have a very bad back and this air mattress has been my sleep solution. But what to put it on? I finally found this bedframe and it's PERfect. Comes in three pieces to bolt together. The required hex wrench for the job is included. Took minutes to assemble. This frame is extremely sturdy and doesn't move around. Have been using the frame for about 4 weeks now and it's as good as I hoped it would be. Additionally, it's able to allow lots of underbed storage - I keep my extra sheets and blankets in their blanket bags underneath with plenty of room to spare. Thanks Overstock !

Concerned about this frame - did not have a box frame - used with memory foam mattress and afraid the mattress would seep through the framing but it doesn't. These two items work together well. Also, tall enough to have storage under the bed. Would purchase again.

I love these beds. We ordered another one and they have held up without ANY problems after almost a full year of using them. They are high enough that I can store oodles of stuff under them. Very sturdy and quite easy to put together. Matter of fact, the ease of putting them together allowed me to take them apart and move them to different rooms and put them back together again without any instructions. Great beds!!!!

I ordered this frame because I was looking for a simple, cheap solution for a bed. The storage underneath is great--I can't believe how much I've been able to stash away. I went with this bed instead of a regular platform because I thought the springs would make the bed more comfortable. I have a new mattress, so I can't do a before and after comparison, but I can report that I am sleeping well with no pain. Setup was simple and really well thought out--I like that the inside legs also bolt the different sections together--smart. Room for improvement? This is an innovative company, and I'd like to see them do something about headboards.

We have two of these in the house, one for our bed and one in the guest room. They are wonderful, aside from the fact that you cannot connect a headboard. We've had our oldest one for about 3 years now, and absolutely love it! I don't have any complaints.

We bought this frame so we could store items under the bed. This frame also eliminates the need for a box spring. There is no lip on the frame which means the mattress can be moved easily--nice for changing sheets, but not so nice for keeping the mattress stationary.
