It's everything you would think a larger "bean bag" product should be, but it is much much heavier and supportive than the old beanbags of the past. The stuffing is not Styrofoam type material. It almost looks like ground up memory foam or something. When it came to my door it was in a box over 1/2 the size less than it turns out being once unpacked! (They vacume sealed it to a smaller size for shipping) So don't freak out. I did -by temporarily thinking "Crap they sent me the wrong size!" And when moving it (it is like 80lbs) I thought "GREEEEAT, now *I* have to pay to return this hulk back?!" But I was very happy when I opened it up to discover in fact it was the correct product size I ordered. You will get a workout when "airing" and kneading this thing up to it's intended size. You don't need a second person, but it would certainly help and I would think give you a few laughs in the process (trust me on this) And some larger sized beanbag instructions say to put the stuffing in the shell before you "fluff it up" Uuuuh yah, that's pretty good advice to follow! I can see this being a slight pain if I needed to get the cover off to wash, but it can be done and I suppose the option being there to wash it if needed outweighs the inconvenience of any possible disassembly and reassembly. It's very dark and a good addition to the living-room, it goes w/o saying it's large, but it does weigh enough you don't have to worry about it scooching away when someone tries to sit on it. It stays put and once you find your "position" it will support you the way you want w/o having to worry about slightly moving or adjusting yourself and losing all the support.

I bought this bean bag for m church's youth group rooms as we needed more seating. The design is great as you can easily remove the top to wash it (drink spills, anyone?). The size is great as it can fit 4 teens comfortably and will also work great as a bed for a chaperone on overnight lock-ins. This is also WAY cheaper than other websites (anywhere between $500-800 for something the same size and quality! and you save $$ in shipping here too!) The teens LOVE it and are much more excited about using the youth room (many can't get off it!) I would definitely buy this product again!
