The ease of assembly was probably affected by a broken wrist..Several of the protective ends for the stool legs were not in the packaging and require additional purchase. This was a gift and I think well received ( after assembled) My first purchase from overstock and won't be my last

I purchased these and am very impressed. They are in my kitchen at the breakfast bar and look great. I didnt have $100 to spend per stool but it looks like I paid that much. They are a little higher than our last stools but the kids like that about these stools. My husband assembled these chairs in ten minutes. We have had them almost a month and they are not scratched and look as good as the day we got them. For the amount of money you cant go wrong with these. A+++

These stools are pretty much as they appear in the picture. The padded seat is comfortable but best suited to small adults and children. Large adults are not able to sit back comfortably. My son and daughter in law wanted something at their kitchen pass through so guests could sit and talk with them but not be in their kitchen while they were working. They are fine for that and compared to most bar stools on the market the price is very good. However, if you can afford more, go for more.

got these as extra seating for gatherings...seem sturdy..good value for the price...
