This chandelier looks nice (once it is hanging). However, 4 of the shades were broken when we first recieved our order. The company was great with replacing the shades. The ring at the top of the chandelier is welded on and is a little bit crooked. One of the five arms, that is to be connected, was missing a part. Thankfully, we had a great electrician to assemble and install this for us. He was able to fix this. We would not have been able to do it ourselves. We do love the looks of it...but, plan to have help with assembly and installation (if you are not an electrician).

Don't waste your money.3 glass globes arrived Broken. OS customer service was great and got replacements sent right away but the color is slightly different. Hung lamp, globes are too heavy and arms of chandelier or slowly bending center fixture outward downward. This will be in our next garage sale.

From the distance the lamp does resemble the picture pretty closely. As someone else already mentioned, the metal is kind of rough up close, but it's not very visible when hanging. What was visible is that the sections are not level - some are parallel to the floor, while others hang lower. I had to move the lamp around for a while until I found an angle where it wasn't too obvious as soon as someone looked at it. The other problem I had was that one of the pieces was poorly attached and broke off during the assembly. Good thing that my DH has a welder at home and was able to weld it back.

I looked for a long time to find a reasonably priced, contemporary looking chandelier to blend with a vanity light that I also bought from Overstock. While this light fixture is not a perfect match, it has the straight lines and black finish I was looking for and I like it. The metal and glass were a little rough in places, but once it's up, nobody can see that. None of the shades were broken, which was a complaint in another review. You won't find anything even close to this chandelier in looks or price in your home improvement stores. You would have to go to a specialty light fixture store to find anything even remotely comparable, and the price would be a lot more. Thanks Overstock!

The chandeliar is nice, but I had to reorder shades. The shades were broken when I received the chandeliar.
