The chair was fairly easy to put together. I did it by myself although the instructions recommend having "help". I was pleased with how sturdy the chair is and how comfortable it is. I agree with the other reviewer that it sit a little low but not uncomfortably so. The only problem I had with the chair is that the frame and legs look totally black in the picture. They are actually a deep brownish, reddish, tone. Don't get me wrong--they are dark legs but definitely not black. The upholstery is true to the picture.
I have been looking for weeks for a bedroom chair that will blend with my black and grey duvet. This is the perfect pattern. Colors are perfect. The floral blends well with the other patterns in the room. Looks like chairs that I saw on other websites that were several hundred dollars. This is a great buy!
This chair is actually very nice looking BUT, it sits very low. It is not the normal height of a chair. When I put it in my living too next to my other furniture, it looked like it was for a doll house. The seat and back are actually large and nice, but I sent it back. The other issue was the smell. While I was unpacking and assembling it, my eyes started to burn. My dog was laying near the packing and her eyes got swollen and red as well. There was a weird unpleasant odor. I think it is something used in China. I had a similar problem with a vinyl shutter that was made in China. I took weeks before the smell went away.
What a beauty! Arms and legs present an antiquish look. Flowers and Leaves appear raised a little. Spacious seat at 22"W! Chrome nail heads coordinate perfectly. Matching wingback chair sold separately while available. Highly Recommend!
