This is the type of product that can make life easier on everyone that ever has been faced with the stubborn lid that just won't loosen. Just put the jar in the opener and it loosens it right off for you....no more struggling.

My mother has severe arthritis in her hand and she thanks me EVERY DAY for gifting her this product. She no longer has to worry about being alone and compromising about what she cooks. She loves it and I apreciate it because of that.

HAD PURCHASED TO OPEN EVERYTHING THAT WAS DIFFICULT TO OPEN. THE FIRST TRIAL WAS ON A GATORADE BOTTLE WHICH WOULD NOT FIT WITHIN THE CONFINES. I DO NOT THINK THIS WAS WORTH THE PRICE. I DO NOT THINK IT IS USEFUL BECAUSE IT IS SO LIMITED IN WHAT IT CAN DO. WILL PROBABLY GO BACK TO MY OLD WAY OF OPENING DIFFICULT CANS AS THIS TAKES UP TOO MUCH SPACE FOR WHAT IT DOES.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my grandparents. They LOVE it already, and it has only been a couple of days. Real easy to use and it works like a charm

As I get older I have had more and more problems opening up bottles and jars. An extemely frustrating experience. I can't call family to drive an hour to get to my place just to open a jar; or asking neighbors to help becomes embarassing. So I bought myself this little tool - thinking how bad can it be.... This is a little GEM of a tool and it does EXACTLY what it says it will do. I have yet to encounter a bottle or jar it has not been able to open!!! Some may claim it is slow - but compared to beet juice stained clothing, olive or pickle brine on your blouse, etc. I do not consider it slow. I also love not hurting my hands and wrists - and I do not miss the frustration of struggling with jars/bottles. Being mechanically challenged, when I first saw it - I was concerned about learning to use it - took just about 5 minutes and 1 jar - its very simple to operate. My first jar I had a problem in that the tool did not open the jar -- NOT the tools fault - I didn't have the jar placed correctly - once I got things where they should be - bing badda boom the jar was open. I had been trying for 3 days with my hands and with the other so called jar opening hand tools I had in my kitchen to get that jar open. I would not only recommend this product to everyone I would say it should be a must for for anyone who has any hand, wrist, or or arm issues - or like myself getting a bit more mature.... I will never again be without one of these in my kitchen.
