I have been using the Black and Decker coffee maker for almost 12 yearsand it is the fantastic taste of coffee I have ever had, most common if I having a cup of coffee in some other places I can taste the different product of coffee in return I need to taste and smell the freshness brewed coffee of my own through using the black and decker coffee maker.
PROS: Looks great on the counter; the blue light gives it a modern appearance. It makes coffee very quickly! And it tastes great.CONS: Thermal carafe doesn't keep coffee hot for very long (this was a major reason I bought this style):The display panel doesn't stay back lit for very long--you have to pull the maker out from under the cupboard to read if the coffee is still "fresh"; The reservoir lid opens toward the back of the maker--awkward! The basket for the coffee grounds is difficult to close, it may take several try's before it snaps shut.BIGGEST CON: The lid of the pot is extremely difficult to open and close. It's hard to get a grip on it. If you have arthritis or small hands, pass on this style!
