Not programmable Haven't used this yet, debating whether or not to return it. The carafe is tiny, and this is not a programmable coffee pot as described. It is a simple switch drip coffee maker and for the price, a total ripoff. Buy something else.

do not buy This coffee maker doesn't have an auto shut off or a clock. Very cheap model with a ridiculous price tag. I've bought less expensive models with clock, auto shut off and pause for pouring coffee while brewing for at less $10 less.

Black and Decker 5 cup coffee maker This is a terrible pot except for the size. The filter leaks, it is difficult to get the pot out after brewing, and the pot holds at least 1/2 to 1 cup of water. I am sorry that I purchased this product.
