I received this blender as a replacement for a Cuisinart Blender/Food Processor combo in which the blender didn't work. This blender is okay - but loud and despite the noise which should indicate power - I find chunks of fruit in my smoothie none the less. I note that 50% or the time when I Plug the blender in - it runs without me turning it on.....safe....probably not, but I am tired of the return process, and dealing with this experience overall. I have learned to keep the lid on when plugging the blender in. I have also learned that I can get the same products at xxxxxxx with a much more generous return policy. I would like to say that Overstock has been very accommodating through this - I will, however, in the future choose a path of less resistance - at least as far as returns are concerned

Powerful
This blender is very powerful, and that was exactly what I was looking for; it blends food with ease. The downside to this blender is that it is quite loud (which didn't really bother me though) and it is not very durable. When it arrived, there was a piece broken off the base of the cup part, but Overstock quickly sent me a replacement part. In a very short time the glass cup part of the blender had a large crack in it,GA but the glass is so thick that I am still able to use the blender even with the crack. I will be looking for a replacement glass top so that I can continue to use this powerful blender.
