when my 200. iron broke as good as it was I just did not want to spend that much money again, I took a chance on this old fashioned design which I love and it surpassed the quality I expected... one pass on items and it looks like a professional dry cleaner pressed for you... so glad I purchased this iron...

Excellent Quality and Performance The Best Iron I've ever owned! When I first received the iron, it wasn't as heavy as I expected. Parts of it I thought to be metal, were plastic, so I had my doubts. However, during the first use, I fell in love. I've used it regularly for the past 2 weeks, and I've had no problems. It gets the wrinkles out quite easily despite it being lighter than my newer, crappy Shark. The iron does not leak out white residue like my Shark and other high dollar irons I've had. It heats up quickly, does not shut off right away during your ironing session breaks, and the constant steam without having to hold down any buttons is a welcomed feature. The pointed end and button grooves make it easy to maneuver around buttons. No worries here. Recommend to all.

An iron is an iron is an iron etc. I've had this iron for several months now and I love it. It has the heft of a good tool. Most irons have plastic parts, so you have to actually provide pressure as well as moving the iron across the fabric. This iron is stainless steel and heavy enough that it's own weight provides the pressure, so if you're ironing a whole load of laundry there is less effort involved. Plus, it actually get wrinkles out. I hate it when you are ironing cotton or silk and when you are done there are still those subtle wrinkles that don't come out, no matter how much time you spend trying to iron them smooth. This iron does what an iron is supposed to do, no more no less. What a relief. Worth all the bells and whistles in the world... It irons! Simple, yeah. I know.
