  • If you can boil it, You can use this Rice Cooker

    Excellent appliance. I use it for cooking rice as well as pasta, grits, oatmeal (not instant), cooked dried beans (after soaking), etc. I've not boiled anything on my stovetop since I got this rice cooker since I can walk away from it without constantly monitoring and just occasional stirring. Just don't overload too much liquid as once it starts boiling the combination of water & steam will pop out of the lid and splatter around the counter.
