    It's just not a very good toaster. It's cheaply made and there is a "well" or "ridge" around the silver bread slots that are always filled with crumbs. It doesn't toast that evenly and the light to dark control is a knob (that falls off). I don't recommend this toaster.

    This toaster is good quality and functions correctly. The slots are wider so sufficient for thick bread and bagels. My only criticism is when toast is done it should pop up a little higher than it does. I primarily use it for english muffins and find I have to use a utensil to remove it.
