I just assumed it would be big enough to fit a standard size cable box. It does not. I thought people should know. Otherwise it looks fine. I agree the plastic handles aren't great, but those are easy enough to replace. Now I am stuck with something that doesn't really work.

This product is of high quality and looks good (for plastic laminate on fiberboard) but the interior shelves only go back 13" when assembled, so the components you want to keep inside must be shallower than this to allow for cable connections. My DVD player is 16" deep without allowing for connections, and my cable box is 14". Measure your components before buying this item!

I absolutely love this piece. I have searched high and low to find a corner tv stand in this color that was reasonably priced and a nice quality. I saw one that was very similar for about $450.00. This was easy to put together and gorgeous in person. I love it. I wish I could post a picture. I recommend this to everyone. I love it!

This piece of furniture looks good on picture from Overstock.com, but when we put it together, the quality is not as good as I expected. I learned from my lesson that I would not buy any furniture from Overstock.com ever again!

The console was very easy to put together and has a great look. Stickers were even provided to cover all the screws. I had read previous reviews that stated the shelves were small and standard cable boxes would not fit. I measured my cable box and it was only 13" deep so I thought this would work. However, because of where the hole for the cord is located, the cords can't bend at such a tight angle so the box does not fit on shelve. I have removed one door and have the cable box hanging over since I really liked the look of the console and it fits perfectly in my corner.

I was impressed with the sturdiness of the wood, but disappointed by the inaccurate description. The top surface is 16" as described, but the shelves are only 14" deep so our dvd palyer doesn't fit. The doors don't hang quite as level as I'd like, but you get what you pay for. The piece fits our room well and looks modern.

Got this delivered and although a little tedious to put together, a great piece of furniture. The only flaw may be the cheap plastic handles but the rest of the unit is heavy and solid. Looks great and very functional as well. I would recommend to anyone looking a great piece of furniture. I believe it also comes in brown

This piece of furniture is exactly what I was looking for. My husband assembled it and thought it was well built. I would highly recommend this piece.

We are very disappointed with this stand. Cheap wood took 2 hours to assemble. The doors dont fit properly. We will be purchasing a new stand shortly. We Do not trust this stand to hold our tv. This stand is ...............BASICALLY GARBAGE.................

I had to purchase a corner tv stand as that is the only place for my tv. Most I looked at weren't very attractive however this piece is perfect. It fits perfectly in my corner and my 46 inch lcd looks great on it. It was easy to assemble and I strongly recomment this stand to anyone else. Great product!!

This is an okay piece. I must say that the doors are seriously flawed. When I put them on, I realized that I have to pull them up past the bottom of the stand in order for them to shut. I'm not sure if the problem is with the screws/hinges used to fasten the door to the stand, or if the problem is with the doors themselves. For the price of the stand, I would have expected a better overall product. It's just not as clean as I would have liked it to be and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

This is definitely built well and I am very pleased with the way it's built. However, it is not deep enough. You can really only fit components that are 12-13" deep, nearly all A/V components are deeper than that. This essentially renders it useless for what I had intended to use it for. If you just plan on putting DVD's or CD's in there, that should be fine.

It is very sturdy and was easy to put together. Heavy wood not the cheap stuff.

Followed directions carefully and it went together with no problems. Looks good and should do the trick with no problems. Corner cabinets are hard to find, good selection on your web site.

Fit my 40" flat panel perfectly, with a few inches of room to spare - I wouldn't go bigger than a 46" with this piece, though. It looks nice, assembles in less than an hour and ends up sturdy. The fit for components is a little tight - my directv hd cable receiver hung over the shelf by about an inch - not a huge problem, just unscrew the magnetic glass door closure to fit without significant detriment to appearance. Overall, a nice value - glad I bought it.

This stand is great looking, great construction easy to follow directions but it is not deep enough. I had to cut a hole in the back for my cable box. It should have been 20" deep if engineered correctly. For the price and quality I was happpy. Be prepared to cut a hole in it.

Bought this for my mother-in-law, looks great, and is very sturdy.

The TV stand looks great and was pretty easy to assemble. It holds my 50-inch plasma and could very easily hold a 58 with no problem.... it may start to look weird with anything bigger than that, though. My qualms with the product: 1. there are two holes in the back (one for each shelf) for all the wiring to run through. The holes are plenty big, but they're in the center of each shelf, which means there's some serious 90-degree bending of cables as soon as they come out of the component. Also, if you have to connect one component to another (e.g., stereo receiver to cd-player), if they're not on the same shelf, the cables have to run out of the piece and back in.... Things start to get very complicated very quickly... 2. this one's a biggie... The unit is not very deep... as such, i can't close the shelf doors because my stereo receiver and cable box are too big... This is exacerbated by the fact that you need room behind all of your components to run cables to the center hole. I think this is a major design flaw of this product, and someone should have taken the size of today's typical components into consideration when designing this piece.
