It was fairly straight forward in assembly, but easier with 2 people. My boys have been using the set for over a year and they love it. It has held up well to the wear and tear of boys. I'm so impressed I'm getting another set for my oldest and youngest to share. Haven't found a con to it yet. It looks very stylish, and you cannot beat the price!
