This bench looks great and does exactly what I needed it to do--which is be an attractive place to neatly hold the dog's leashes and walking supplies near the door. However, it was very difficult to assemble--took us over 3 hours. There are a lot of pieces and the illustrations in the instruction manual require a lot of time to study and interpret. I also recommend using the glue sparingly to be sure there is enough to fill all the holes/posts. Once it is assembled it looks great and the quality is excellent, except for slight difficulty getting all the drawers to operate smoothly and close all the way.
I love this bench but just make sure you have the time to really lay out the pieces and look at instructions before you put it together.It is very sturdy and good looking. The only issue I had was that part of the bench was very beat up. The damaged part is on the back so no one will really notice...I just do.

Great looking bench. Perfect for the area in the hall where we sit and remove or put on shoes. Adds character and interest to its surroundings, and it's a great size--not too large

Love the bench, took a little while to assemble. Needed to drill one hole that was missed by the manufacturer. The drawers underneath are a tiny bit sticky, but not bad. Overall, this was a great purchase and looks absolutely wonderful in my entryway. Very sturdy, I love it!!

Although the package arrive with some damage, fortunately there was no damage to the product. After examining all the parts, I found that some of the parts were missing identification stickers. Assembly of the bench, although simple, took much longer than expected. Some of the instructions could have been better explained. I would like to have seen better drawer rails and either leg pads included for use on a wood floor. Overall, after assembly, the bench turned out very well and was perfect for the space I anticipated.

the bench is beautiful and easy to assemble. We were missing some of the hardware and my husband had to make a trip to the hardware store to find what he needed to finish. Also missing some of the black dots to cover up the screws.

I LUV THIS BENCH BUT, IT TOOK MY HUBBY A VERY LONG TIME TO PUT TOGETHER AND HE IS NO DUMMY HE IS A ENGINEER. BEFORE HE EVEN OPENED IT HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE HIM ABOUT 30 MINS. LOL I DID NOT WANT HIM TO DO IT AT THAT TIME WE HAD PLANS AND I TOLD HIM IT WAS GOING TO TAKE LONGER WHY I SAID THIS WITHOUT IT EVEN BEING OPENED IS I JUST HAD THAT FEELING. I DO COUNTRY AND I AM A AVID COLLECTOR OF DOLLS. I GOT THIS TO SIT IN THE HALLWAY TO SIT SOME DOLLS ON. IT IS A STEAL IN PRICE I LOOKED AT MANY ON THE INTERNET EVEN THO SOME WHAT DIFFERENT THEY WERE MUCH MORE. I AM NOT SORRY IN ANYWAY THAT I GOT THIS. DO-NOT HESITATE TO GET IT I DO-NOT THINK YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID.

I searched high and low for something just this size to fit a particular spot in my house. Didn't want to buy online but couldn't find ANYTHING in the stores that would work. I'm glad I bought this bench. It looks great and fits great where I put it and would fit any casual or elegant area of a house. Not easy to put together...very very time-consuming but I'm glad we got it anyway. Great price and looks great.

I read all the reviews and felt they were mixed. I bought this bench for my entryway and have loved it! It is really useful, sturdy, and cute. I don't know what someone was saying about the screws showing, they are all covered with black covers. I am very glad I bought this. It took a little bit of time to assemble but the instructions were easy to follow and fool proof. If you are looking for a bench then this is the one for you.

I read the reviews before purchasing this bench and decided to move forward with the puchase although I was a little frightened from the reviews. I'm so glad I did! I bought two in fact. The benches are really cute, sturdy and EASY to put together. Out of the box it seems like a lot of pieces, but not really. The first bench took me two hours to put together by myself. I took my time, reading and rereading the directors... being particularly careful. The second bench took an hour. I have them set up cafe' style in my house. Really really cute!
I would definitely recommend using a light-weight electric screw driver. It definitely helped me to speed the assembly.

We thought we were purchasing this bench just because we needed a place for people to sit who came to our office too early when the door was locked. But all through the day we notice people laying things down while putting a coat on, or sitting and reading while waiting for someone, etc. We've had lots of compliments on the sharp but friendly appearance of the bench. It's very sturdy. The drawers are useful for kleenex, a phone book, and some magazines for those who use the bench. It was a great deal, and we're really we glad we found it!

This arrived in pieces. Not even a drawer assembled. Three of us working together needed 3 hours to put it together, and when we were done we felt the exposed screwheads on the front and the daylight airspace between the drawers and the frame were disappointing.

Was a bit concerned about reviews I read about ease of putting this together. However, I thought the directions were very clear, all holes were drilled right on, and was not that difficult to put together if you have any basic concept of assembling things. Two of my bench pieces did have cracks in them, though, and it would be virtually impossible to repack contents to ship back. Even so, bench seems to be very sturdy!

Looks great, nice piece as advertised, but awful to put together, needed additonal holes drilled etc. My husband has lots of experience with renovation etc. and is quite handy and it still took almost 2 hours. Without experience you're in for a challenge. But overall a very nice addition to our entry

Easy assembly, good instructions, all parts included. The bench looks great and is a fantastic value for the price. The drawers are a bit sticky but they loosened up with silicone spray. The only problem I had was one drawer with a pre-drilled hole off center, would have caused the drawer side to split had I not noticed it before inserting screw. It took about 3 hours to assemble and certain parts would go faster if there were two people doing it. I love this bench!

The bench is a great bench! My only problems were the assembly and once I got it together it was a little shorter than expected.
The instrunctions for assembly are not very clear so read through them first and use common sense and it will go fine.
The end product is great though-seems sturdy and looks great!

I received the bench very quickly after purchase, and I was happy to see that after being put together it was exactly as the picture. It fits perfect in our entryway and is short enough to hang a coat rack over it. The only complaint I have about this bench is that it was a little difficult to put together and there was not enough glue supplied for assembly.
