I am so happy to see these here, I bought mine at another place and didn't get the deal they are here. That being said, I was so tired of buying plant stands that didn't roll, would buckle or break, even though they were in the weight class. These won't do that. I have my largest outdoor planter on one and it doesn't even blink! These you won't regret buying!!Read More

We have two large lemon trees that have to come in on the coldest winter nights. I bought two of these dollies and very likely will buy more in the future. They are very easy to move around.Read More
Purchased four of these plant dollies for large/heavy plants in my sunroom that were too large/heavy to move when cleaning. These worked out perfectly and I will probably purchase a few more smaller ones for some of the smaller/heavy plants. Happy to have found these, price is very reasonable for the quality of the product. Highly recommended product.Read More
This is my second dolly, purchased for my second 1/2 barrel planter. The planter is HEAVY, without handles. This dolly is extremely sturdy & the perfect size for these barrel planters. I have no doubt that the planter/dolly will last for years to come. Overstock, as usual, delivered quickly and packed well. THANKS O.CO!Read More

We recently built a composite deck, which gets black marks and streaks all over it each time we move something across the etched in wood grain. This has become a real problem, since most of our deck furniture is cast aluminum. The simple act of sliding a chair out from underneath a table and back - well, needless to say, it was driving both my spouse and myself crazy trying to prevent black marks/streaks from appearing everywhere on our new deck floors! As a remedy, we have placed moving slider cups underneath all our deck furniture, but the sliders were not working for our three 80 pound umbrella bases. The bases had small metal protrusions/legs around the bottom and they were so heavy that the protrusions were going through the mover slides and leaving deep marks/steaks on our deck floor. Plus, I'm rather petite, and it was nearly impossible for me to slide the heavy bases to different positions on our deck to accommodate the sun shifting throughout the day. The umbrella bases are 20.9" in diameter, and these 24" diameter planter carts are a great fit! I can easily move the heavy bases across our deck throughout the day as the sun moves across the sky, and best of all, no black marks or streaks are left behind! It would be great if the wheels would lock in place to keep the cart from rolling across the deck in high winds, but I feel confident it will be easy enough to find something to "scotch" the wheels in place, once the stands are in position. These carts have resolved our problem and look great too!Read More

Best Places for Outdoor Planters
Outdoor hanging planters make any outdoor space more beautiful, and planters allow you to have more plant variety in your yard, since some plants grow better in planters than in the ground. You can place pots and planters anywhere in your yard, but you'll want to pay attention to whether your plants are sun or shade plants, as well as where the pots will look best. Here are some ideas about places for outdoor planters to help you beautify your yard.
How to Care for Skirts
Like all clothing, you'll want to make sure you follow the instructions on the care label to ensure the longest life for your skirts. Use hangers with clamps or clips to let long skirts hang by their waistbands and avoid creating wrinkles; wash a classic black skirt with similar colors or by itself to avoid bleeding onto other fabrics. Here are a few other tips on caring for skirts that you'll want to be aware of.
Nightstand Buying Guide
To create a balanced atmosphere in your bedroom, finding the right nightstand is essential. A nightstand is an end table for the bedroom. In almost every case, it stands beside your bed as a useful space for storing and displaying the things any good end table might: a table lamp, an alarm clock, a book or magazine, a pair of glasses, a small plant, a drinking glass, a framed picture. All night stands are built with your basic bedside requirements in mind, but there are important distinctions in nightstand utility and style. Luckily, this nightstand buying guide gives you all the information you need to determine how to buy a nightstand that brings you closer to the bedroom of your dreams.
How to Avoid Holiday Shopping Crowds
You've seen it before: crowds of shoppers standing in massive lines waiting for the doors to open, filling stores like sardines, and cleaning off shelves in a frenzy. It's enough to make someone dislike the holiday season altogether, but you can banish your inner Scrooge simply by avoiding the holiday crowds. When the best Black Friday deals are online, you can leave the crowds behind and truly enjoy the season. Here's how to avoid holiday shopping crowds while finding the perfect gifts for less online.
International Shoe Sizing Buying Guide
If shoe sizes are listed using a system you aren't familiar with, it can be difficult to know how to buy shoes that will fit. Most of the shoes listed on Overstock.com are in U.S. sizes, which can make purchasing shoes online confusing if you are shopping internationally. This international shoe size conversion guide is here to give you an easy reference when you're shopping for shoes online. If it has been a while since you measured your feet, you'll want to do that first. Measure them late in the day, as they tend to be larger at this time. You should also wear the socks you plan to wear with your shoes. Have a friend trace your foot on a piece of paper, so you can stand up straight. Measure the tracing, finding the length of your foot in inches closest to the next 16th inch. Find the width of your foot, and then measure your other foot; use the measurements from the largest foot when referring to the shoe size conversion table. Remember that, even with the right shoe size, shoes from different manufacturers will fit differently. Be sure to read customer reviews to see if the shoes you are shopping for run true to size.
How to Choose the Right Dog Kennel Size
One of the first things you need for a new dog is a quality dog kennel. The right dog kennel can help potty train your puppy, make traveling and vet visits with your dog easier, and give your dog a cozy place to curl up at night or to keep out of mischief while you're away. The wrong size dog kennel, however, can make things uncomfortable for your pooch and a pain for you. As a rule of thumb, kennels and crates should be at least 4 inches taller and longer than your dog and allow him to stand, sit, and turn around easily. You'll also want to make sure there is water and a blanket or towel in there for him. These guidelines can help you find the right fit for your pup when shopping for dog kennels.
Best Sunroom Furnishing Ideas
Sunrooms are often some of the most popular areas of any home. Large windows and garden views make sunrooms feel like outdoor retreats while still providing the cover and warmth of indoor rooms. Because sunrooms are connected more to the outdoors than any other room in your home, pick design elements and furniture that work with that theme. Below, you'll find some of the best sunroom furnishing ideas. Seating: One of the most important parts of a sunroom is the seating arrangement. Since you'll likely want to spend many warm nights and bright days in your sunroom, you'll need adequate seating. Sunrooms typically feature either wood furniture or wrought iron seating. When deciding what's right for you, consider the overall look of the room as well as the intended comfort level. Wooden furniture with thick cushions is warmer and more comfortable than metal. A wicker sectional sofa with comfortable cushions will work well with the design of a sunroom. Alternatively, wrought iron benches and chairs give a modern look and feel to a room. Mismatched plush armchairs are a great way to bring both comfort and casual elegance to a sunroom. Tables: When picking out tables for your sunroom, consider how you're going to use the area. Choose a low table that can act as a coffee table for guests to set down their drinks. Tables with glass inserts match sunrooms well because of surrounding glass windows. Sunrooms are a popular place to go during parties and family get-togethers, so consider adding a small dining table and chairs to the room for meals. Design elements: Although sunrooms are indoors, they tie in the nature and wonder of the outdoors. Choose design elements that bring both sun and nature into the room. Wicker planters can hold plants of your choice. Place planters on side tables and on the floor next to entrances to give an inviting impression as guests enter the room. Artwork can change a bland sunroom into something charming and interesting. Look for paintings and sculptures that incorporate colors and themes from the surrounding decor. LCD TVs vs Plasma TVs
Flat-screen TVs seem to be everywhere. For you, the choice may seem like a toss-up between plasma TVs and LCD TVs. These competing technologies each have advantages, so it's important to consider your specific needs before purchasing a flat-screen TV. If you are highly knowledgeable, you may want to consider the more technical specifications of LCD and plasma TVs. This is a fast-moving technology, so the advantages of each technology may soon even out with one another. Until then, here are some facts that may help you with the choice between plasma and LCD TV technology. Price differences. While price is important, it doesn't tell the whole story when comparing LCD and plasma. In the past, plasma TVs were slightly less expensive than LCD TVs of the same size, and the price differential became greater as the size of the television increased. The gap in price has narrowed between flat-screen technologies, though. Price is probably the least important factor, especially since you can find good deals on both plasma TVs and LCD TVs. Use. How you use your TV matters. Plasma TV screens are prone to "burn-in," a problem in which still or static images can be more or less permanently imprinted on the screen. This is of particular concern if you play video games, which tend to display static images for long periods of time in the same location on the screen. Fortunately, newer plasma TVs are less vulnerable to burn-in. If you plan to use your flat-screen TV for video games or other static images, LCD TVs may be a better choice. Environmental considerations. LCD TVs use an average of one-third to one-half as much energy as a plasma TV of the same size. The difference comes from the different lighting technologies. If you are concerned about your energy consumption, LCD is a greener choice. As technology improves, plasma TVs may improve their energy consumption. Lifespan. When early models of LCD TVs and plasma TVs were compared, LCD had the longer lifespan. But plasma technology has improved, and plasmas now boast a lifespan equal to LCDs. Most flat-screen TVs claim around a 60,000-hour lifespan. Depending on your usage, this means your flat-screen TV should last 20 years or more. The only parts of an LCD TV that wear out are the bulbs that illuminate the LCD screen. On a plasma TV, the bulbs will also go out before the screen does. Size and weight. LCD TVs are typically much lighter and less bulky than plasma TVs of the same size. Plasma TVs use glass for their screens, which is heavier and more fragile than the plastic used for LCD TVs. When mounting a large flat-screen TV on a wall, use a flat-screen TV mount and be sure that the wall can support your TV's weight. Picture. Both LCD TVs and plasma TVs produce amazing high-definition picture quality. Plasma TVs typically display blacks more clearly and show crisper detail during fast-moving programming, like sporting events. LCD TV technology is catching up, though, and LCD TVS usually offer greater native screen resolution than plasma TVs. This means more pixels per square inch, for a sharper overall picture. LCD TVs can lose picture quality when viewed at an angle. Some models do better than others on this, so be sure to do your research on any LCD TV's viewing angles.
