This is a replacement for another Bissell steam cleaner that I had for two years and spent a lot of time replacing belts. It was not completely the fault of the steamer. I have several indoor pets with HAIR. The hair kept getting wound on the brush which led to belt stress,which led to frequent replacement. This new Steamer has more power and throws the hair out(big wet hairball) so can be picked up and additionally does a great job removing dirt from carpet. I made sure to get the warranty incase of problems. So far, this new steamer does very well even with animal hair.

I have no complaints with the machine. I used my refurbished shampooer on a heavily soiled carpet. This machine went above my expectations. It did the job beautifully. I went over the heavily soiled areas once before I did the whole carpet. It looks almost brand new! The only thing I was disappointed in was that refurbished machines DO NOT come with all the attachments. I have to purchase them separately through Bissell, and that was not listed on Overstock's description. It was a good buy for the money. Other than that I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend the product highly.

I recently purchased this unit refurbished. It cleans wonderfully and was pleasantly surprised it did not run through ton of cleaner like other units I have owned. Special note that the water tank came cracked but after contacting overstock they sent a replacement tank quickly with no problems ! I was very happy with the quick and hassle free fix to the problem !

We have had this Bissel ProHeat 2x for about 8 months now. It does a pretty good job on cleaning (depending upon which solution you use) and removing water. It handles the occaisional Pet Stain with ease and is only slightly more complex to use than an Upright Vacuum Cleaner. The carpet is damp when you have finished but by no means intollerable and it dries overnight very nicely. Where this machine REALLY came in handy is when our Dishwasher Hot Water Feed Line Sprang a LEAK! There was HOT Water... puddled and traveling... throughout the Kitchen, Hallway, Leaking into the Basement and in the Living Room... NIGHTMARE Scenario! Well... this machine sucked it all up in about an hour and a half of work and probably saved us many days of misery and prevented a potential mold issue from ever developing. We purchased this as a Refurb Unit and got the Extended Warranty. No doubt that is has earned it's keep and far more. Easy to use, Handy & Quick, Simple to Maintain... that alone hit all of the boxes for me. Disaster Mitigation was a genuine bonus. Two Thumbs Up!

I know I was buying a refurbished product, and have many times, and have always had good luck, but it ran out. Vacuum was missing original packing material of any kind. Looks like it was just thrown in a box. Arrived broken. The whole front plastic piece that sucks up water was shattered.

The 2 sets of brushes for floor scrubbing definitely do a good job of cleaning up dirty floors. Even has some sort of bullseye button to directly shoot cleaner onto stains to pre-soak. Includes a crevice tool attachment with a great solution sprayer (no brush attached though). Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the regular hand tool attachment doesn't spread water evenly in a mist like others, it's designed to shoot water straight at the back of a plastic piece to help it spray around. Means that you have to put a little more arm work into it to get the water spread evenly and scrub. There is an optional powered hand tool attachment that is offered and I plan on getting, just not sure of the cost yet. The option to adjust the levels of clean or do a water-only rinse are definitely great, just make sure that if you're using a concentrated cleaner, you dilute it appropriately. Even with dilution, this thing seems to suck up cleaner like a magnet. I cleaned out 1 car, a room, and a couch, and used the included little (8 oz or so) bottle of cleaner and about 1/2 of a 60oz bottle. In all fairness, I didn't know I was supposed to dilute it the first time I used it and cleaned the car so that might account for some of the overuse. The heater is a nice option but somewhat of a gimmick. I already have the hot water in my house turned up pretty high and didn't notice a huge difference in temperature. When using outside on a colder day I noticed that the water went from hot to warm regardless of the heater being on. I was apprehensive about the same tank system with a bladder and separate solution container but I actually like it now. Needs emptied just about as often (or maybe a little less) than comparable home models. Exhaust is vented out the sides to help aide in drying the carpet. Once again, probably another gimmick since it won't be in contact long enough to completely dry the carpet, but overall not a bad way to use exhaust. All in all, probably the best cleaner you can get for this money if you don't mind refurbish. Just ironic that the one gimmick it has (the heater) is probably the one thing that does not work well. I owned a bissell maybe 10 years ago and was hesitant to get another since I remember it as being more cheaply made, but this has changed my mind.

Refurbished Bissell 9200R/9400R PROheat 2X Upright Cleaner, packaged as new and assembled easily. I cleaned 4 rooms and it did a good job. All rooms have long fiber carpets. The cleaner left behind lint balls to be removed by hand. I'd recommend this rug cleaner even though it may be harsh on certain types of carpets.

I love this. Its so much better than the Rug Doctor I used to rent every 4 months or so. Much lighter and easier to fill and clean. It moves in all directions like a regular vacuum cleaner, rather than the Rug Dr. which only goes in a straight line. This carpet cleaner is just fantastic. And it sucks up the water from the carpets really well, leaving it mildly damp, and therefore dries faster. So easy to do just spots, sections or an entire room. I love this machine. can't recommend it highly enough. I was skeptical of getting "refurbished" but I haven't had any problems at all... and it looked like new when I received it.

The machine is easy to use, easy to clean after use, but in no way can be described as steam machine. The first pass after heating for a fees minutes was warm, however that did not last. The rug solution cleaned okay. I was expecting a machine that heated to the steam level, and was disappointed that while the description indicated that was true, sadly was not. I returned the product to overstock, which has been one of the easiest returns I have ever experienced. If you are looking for a simple easy machine to regularly clean rugs and don't mind overnight dampness, this machine will do a beautiful job. If you want steam capability stay away find a different machine.

BY all Means buy this if you can...I got and have used the heck out of it on our rental and our home...it works like a champ and I am glad I bought it...

This cleaner works very well for its cost and I am able to use it with ease. It does have a small water container, but i am not trying to shampoo a huge room. I am spot cleaning where I need, and I like that it has an extended hose so I can clean small spots in hard to reach areas, like the stairs. This item arrived in poor packaging though. The box seemed to miss some packing material in the top of the box, meaning my vacuum inside could be bumped around easily during packing and when it arrived, the top of the box was open....even worse for how much it shifted during shipping.

I had a smaller one, it sure didn't do a good job... it cleaned off the surface dirt, but it came right back when the carpet dried... it is wonderful for a quick clean up job, as you can put the cleaner in it, and leave it.. just have to change or empty the dirty water.. well worth the money!

This steam cleaner is wonderful. I love the built in heater that really deep cleans my carpets. The water reservoir is small but I find that this is the only negative.

Hand tool great but bottom unit dumps dirty water on the floor. Have tried getting help several times.

very effective at cleaning carpet. I had a real problem with a smell, and it was a matter of finding the right "cleaner" to use in this machine. I like the Heat feature, and brushes and vacuum suction was very good. Probably voided any warranty by using the cleaning solution that actually worked, but the end result is all that matters to me, A CLEAN SMELLING CARPET!!!

Not a bad cleaner. Like other reviewers said the machine does leak and it is pretty heavy compared to some other cleaners but it does a good job cleaning the carpets and you can't beat the price!

I don't use this machine, my husband does, but I certainly love the results! He says it's easy and cleans very fast - he especially likes the fact that it doesn't leave the carpet soaking wet and it does dry faster than other carpet cleaner's. All I know is that it cleans the carpet and makes it look like it did when they first put it down!!

Have only used twice but so far we really like this carpet cleaner, prior to this one we had a refurb Bissel that lasted over two years, we hope this will be the same. It is another good deal from Overstock.
