Great work so far; loud, heavy and exhausts a lot of hot air (not so fun on 100 degree days...). I am very pleased witht the performance, but it does require a bit of maintenance to run best (I clean filters and empty canisters with each use). All in all - I'd say this beats the pants off the *** bagless and the *** bagged vacumes it replaced.

Best vacuum I have ever owned ! I have 2 dogs that shed constantly and this vacuum does the trick. It was not blue though it was silver but that wasn't important to me.

I like the fact that this vacuum can also be used as an electric broom. We have wood floors and I really like the feature of being able to use the vacuum and having the option of turning off the bristles. The vacuum came packaged well - there is definately some wear marks on the front bumper of the machine. Overall it is in good shape. The pet attachment keeps falling off the vacuum when not in use - no biggie.

This vacuum has a lot of power. Even though it is a refurbished, it looks and works as if it were new. I just saw the same model at a local dept. store and that one was $100.00 more. Way to go overstock!!!!

I just got this yesterday so have not had much chance to use it yet but so far so good. I bought this because of others good reviews and I think I am going to be very pleased. One thing I really like is the option of turning off the brush so you can vacuum smooth floors also. Nice feature. Very good price. Very fast shipping.

So powerful it sucked up even the wig and Chihuahua of the lady that lives downstairs from me!!! LOLOL... I'm amazed at the power and ease of movement with this model, comparable to the ones with the ball base like *** more for the same result...... I love even more the fact that I don't ever need anymore any vacuum bags!! Easy to remove canister and the bottom brush is awesome to pick up small items normally left behind by a lot more expensive brands.. No smell from the dirt accumulated in the canister either. The price was excellent as usual and I enjoy vacuuming now. I love my new Bissell...!!!!!

I am overall very satisfied with this vacuum. I have never purchased a refurbished product before, and for the price the product is excellent. It has really great suction; I have a cat and can't believe how much hair this vac is pulling from the carpets. The pet turbo brush is excellent for furniture, small spaces and quick clean-up jobs. What I love best is the lift-off canister which, along with the turbo brush, make cleaning my stairs easy! My only problem was getting the handle attached to the vacuum. I've tightened the screws but the handle is a little loose. Not a big deal.

I received my vacuum yesterday which I quickly put it together and had to use it as my other vacuum broke. Right away I noticed it was not the color blue as in the photo but red which is fine. There was some type of coloring on the back of the handle which looks like a child had colored it with a crayon. The area where the hose plugged into the bottom and the right side of the floor covering had some slight wear and tear. I put it together and plugged it in and I swear it almost took off! This has so much power! I love it. I have all tile floors with a toddler, a black fuzzy cat and a husband and this vacuum rocked it. It was sucking up the dust and fuzz like a champ. I love how you can turn on and off the floor brush and it's so easy to lift the center console out and take it with you. I forgot that this was a refurbrished item. Well worth the money. I love the bissel vacuum and I would say get it. Awesome deal! Thanks overstock.

WOW! I'm so happy to get my vacuum. I was a little nervous about getting a refurbished vacuum but I'm pleasantly surprised. How was it different? Well, there was a few scuffs on it-especially on the front where some wording was but who cares. The cord was bundled and wrapped w a regular rubberband and well....that's about it. It was in a regular bissel box and packaged solidly so nothing really was bouncing around. I put it together in all of 4 minutes...snap the handle on, two screws and connect the hose. The attachments all snap on nicely and I didn't realize that the canister POPS OFF so you can go up stairs or walk around w/ it w/o carrying the whole heavy vacuum. SWEET! I did my living room rug. We have a dog that sheds and its GROSS however the entire rug is MAYBE 12x12? I FILLED the canister just vacuuming the uncovered area. My rug was starting to get matted down and seriously-it looks fluffy and new again. I used the hose to clean all around the edges and on my stairs and then did the upstairs and filled it again. The thing is SO powerful that on LOW carpet/bare floors it seriously propels itself! I JUST got it yesterday so I can't speak to longevity but I'm VERY happy so far. You know you're getting old and dorky when you're excited over a VACUUM! ;)

I am very pleased with this vacuum. I feel it does an greet job picking up the pet hair. When I ordered it from some of the other review I was a little concerned with the size of the canister, but I feel it is a good size. The canister is so easy to empty and put back on the vacuum. My dog and cat shed quit a bite and for the first time I feel I'm getting my carpets clean. I would highly recommend it and for the price you won't go wrong.

Although the vacuum broke (vacuum beater bar stopped turning after one day of use) it did perform extremely well on my area rugs and it was great while it lasted. Amazing suction and lightweight control of the vacuum made vacuuming the rugs a breeze. I frequently purchase "refurbished" items and have amazing luck with them so I wasn't concerned with purchasing this model. I am willing to give it another try and returned the defective unit. I hope that my next "refurbished" vacuum last a lot longer than the first. I rated the vacuum "3 stars-average" because it broke so soon. Otherwise I would have given it a 4-5 star rating.

After owning a Dyson Animal (and not liking it at all) I researched and read reviews. My decision was for the Bissell and could not be happier with it. Even though it said it was refurbished it looked brand new. We have two Labs and they shed a lot. This vaccum handles the hair beautifully and i very easy to empty. I actually look forward to using it!!! Highly recommend it.

Simply the best vacuum we have ever owned,this includes one which costs almost 3x as much.We have three cats and they have met their match.We are very impressed with the amount of hair that is pulled up when we vacuum.No problems whatsoever with the machine and it arrived in like new condition.We were aware of the little issues of bagless cleaners and they are quite manageable.Get this machine.You won't be sorry.

I've only had this vacuum for a few weeks but it does the job well. I have tile and carpet in my house and the vacuum does well on both surfaces. In addition, having the detachable canister feature is a bonus. It is a great vacuum especially for pet owners, hopefully it will last for a long time.
