this system isnt nearly as good as bisssels units with spinning brushes, may work with newer carpet w/out ground in staines. i wish i could trade for a spin brush. im very disapointed

Wonderful new item ,at a fraction of the cost ! Excellent for cleaning a room at a time for those unexpected visits or the unexpected spill . Drys as discribed .Cleans the sofa ina breeze ! Love it !

This product may be ok for a top cleaning job but with my experience it did not clean as well as they make it sound on the commercial. It was simple to put together and I believe it is good for touch up, but not for a real deep clean.

1) It leaks out of the attachment hose2) The engineers thought it would be a neat idea to hold the thing together with two screws. If the screws jiggle loose, it stops working (connection to power goes loose).3) Steam is generated by mixing heat and water. No heat, no steam. Lots of wet though.4) The hand-held attachments have a wide-area spray that blasts everything.Going to be checking on the Dyson and Eureka Web sites to see if their engineers actually USE the products they're designing.

I got this machine because I have three dogs and my carpet gets dirty just from the oil in the hair where they lay in the same place all the time. The attachments work fabulous! I have cleaned my sofas and some stubborn spots on my kitchen carpet where there have been spills and it took it right out. The roller isnt for really dirty areas as it doesnt have scrubbers under the main unit nor does it have direct suction. So the floor cleaning roller on the main unit is mostly for maintaining already clean carpet from what I can tell, but still can be used on my hardwood floors and area rugs. Overall, I think its a great machine, great price and works great!! Would recommend to pet owners or anyone with carpet in high traffic areas.
