This vacuum has suction!
When I broke it out of the package it took a minute to assemble and I was off vacuuming. I was startled at turn on as the vacuum propelled itself forward! At first I thought the dirt indicator light was broken.... no my carpets where that nasty, apparently. I can not believe the amount of loose dirt it's continuing to pull up from my carpets. When the suction seems to lessen all I do is rinse out the two bottom filters and it's good to go. I vacuum everyday due to having two kids under 5, two cats and a dog. This vacuum is a power horse – and my new love, don't tell my husband. I love the retractable cord, quick wind up before my 1.5 year old wanders over to seek and destroy. The only negative I see, as with my previous vacuum, is the tight hose. It's hard to reach places at times.

Great vacuum for the price
The vacuum cleaner was easy to put together and worked as advertised. I really like how easy it is to empty the cup and the retractable cord!

LOVE THIS VACUUM!
I purchased this vacuum after spending to much money on other vacuums that didn't last and/or work. This vacuum was well worth the money. I have 2 young children and need a vacuum that can get the job done (cheerios..bits of paper..smashed cracker..you name it) . It is heavier then some vacuums but i like it. The retractable cord is soooo nice...don't have to spend the time wrapping up a cord ..or risking it getting messed up in the closet. It was also very easy to put together out of the box and the extra pieces fit snugly in place. Would definitely reccommend this product!

great vaccum
This is a great vaccum. I had a 500$+ Dyson and it wouldn't pick up worth anything, but was light and maneuverable. This vac is heavier and harder for me to use, but my oh my, it leaves nothing behind. It's easy to empty AND the cord stores inside the vac!! It means a shorter cord and plugging in more often, but I don't mind-dealing with the cords I hated. So, I love it, would buy it again and recommend it highly.

An amazing Hoover!! I have only used it twice so far. But the power. Precision. Suction is all just complete value for money if not exceeding expectations. It is a little heavy to use on thick carpets. But not a major flaw. Easy to assemble. Super comfortable to use. I shall update this review once it's been a few months with this machine to see if it gives the same initial performance.

Handy vac!
The first vacuum arrived in a flimsy box that clearly was not from the manufacturer. The product arrived damaged, presumably due to the poor packaging. Overstock promptly provided a replacement. Assembly was super easy (took about 60 seconds). I used this Bissell the day after using my old vacuum and I couldn't believe how much dirt this little baby sucked up! It felt so satisfying! The retractable cord is AWESOME. The vacuum pushes easily across the carpet. I don't know whether the the red/green dirty/clean lights are accurate, but they feel nifty. I've been using the Bissell regularly for about a month and so far no problems.

This vacuum SUCKS!! (Wonderfully!!!)
I would recommend the Bissell 58F8 SmartClean to any of my friends who want to vacuum, and NOT spend all day being sore from the effort. (Or having to re-vacuum to get what they missed the first time!) This vac does the job it was designed to do...and does it WELL! Thanks to O.Co for having this fine product at the VERY reasonable price we paid.
