I had used a friend's, so I was familiar with the cleaner. Yes, you will be changing water often, but that means it is also lightweight and easy to use. You won't dread using it. I'm not saying I'm not going to have my carpets cleaned professionally, but I am saying this is a good way to maintain a professionally cleaned or new carpet.

I use it for when my cat has a hairball, it works great. The machine is not for cleaning a bunch of carpets, just spots here and there.

I love this shampooer. It is light weight and portable. The carpet feels and looks clean after use. I would say it is not the best for set in stains, but general cleaning. My only real complaint is that it is hard to get the waste water reservoir completely clean so if you have carpet fibers (fur balls) they will get stuck in it.

I had some stains on my carpet in my upstairs hallway. It was really easy to use and worked great. No need to spend hundreds of dollars on a machine. Served its purpose really well.

I was please with the new cleaner. It is lightweight and easy to use. It is compact so can get into small spaces. I purchased it to clean heavy spots and general cleaning. It did an okay job on the spots. I would recommend for light use -it is not heavyduty. I have a small rancher with light carpets throughout so it was suitable for my purposes.

The only problem we had was rinsing the container of dirty water. The water comes out , however, any remaining fibers that are in there are difficult to remove. The size of this item is great...We live in a small apartment , therefore there isn't a problem with storing it. It is light weight and not a 'back breaker' to use.

I have had several carpet cleaners over the years and this one is probably one of the best ones. It is simple and easy to operate. It seems to suck up the water quite well and leaves the carpet clean. It is very small, which is great for me & being able to store it. It is perfect for small clean up jobs. I am glad I got it.

I find that with regular use most carpet cleaners, expensive or not, don't last more than a few years, so when I saw this one at such a great price, I snapped up two; the suction is very good, it's easy to assemble, and easier to use. I like it

I ordered this machine for my mum to make her work a bit easier when cleaning the carpet. She did not use it yet as it was only delivered on 14-05-2012 but she is over the moon about it and she advised that she cant wait to use it.
