this worked wonders on my stained carpet (soda and food stains set in for weeks) without even pretreating. It was super easy to put together and easy to use! I hope it continues working as well for awhile.

I have small dogs and am constantly running in and out. I already own a steam mop, for hard surfaces, and wanted a steam cleaner for my carpets. They sanitize so well. I shopped and shopped and found this one, actually named, "quicksteamer". And in the description it mentioned that you could clean with just water (steam). Sold! How disappointed I was when I assembled it and realized that there is no heating element at all. I filled the contained with just cold water, as one does with a steamer, and cold water sprayed on my rug. This machine is misnamed and does not perform any of the functions that it was supposed to. I feel stuck with another useless machine.

Much smaller and lighter weight than expected, but it works! From mystery stains at our new home to cranberry juice emesis, courtesy of my five year old, it has been awesome! I have a bigger, heavier scrubber, but this works as well if not better! I especially like that it fits between cabinets and potty... Big cleaner can't do that!

I am a little reluctant to review this product as I've only used it once, but it seemed to do a very good job cleaning an extremely dirty and smelly carpet even though the visible stains remained (I did not really expect those to disappear). It is easy to use but watch out for the dirty liquid container - it fills up pretty fast!

This Bissell Steamer is great,not heavy--easy on the back and does a great job. We have a small pet so it really comes in handy. It arrived very quickly and was easy to assemble.

I have owned the same model and used it along with all my friends for almost 3 years. I got so tired of tracking it down that I ordered a new one. The other will be the loaner. Very good cleaning machine and worth the price. Cleans carpets quickly and removes water quickly for a fast dry.

Arrived as expected, easy to assemble, easy to fill the tank and leaves the carpet fairly dry. I have a large Bissell Carpet cleaner, but it was getting old and didn't clean well. So I purchased this small unit primarily to remove spots. But as I used it I found that it works great on large areas of the carpet, so instead of just cleaning up the spots, I did the complete room. While it doesn't have rotating brushes, it did a really great job. I have several dogs so I vacuum every couple of days. So before using the carpet cleaner I went over the carpet with my vacuum and I thought that I had a fairly dirt free carpet. But once I started with the Bissell on the same carpeting, it keep picking gobs of dog hair. While some got into the tank, most were left on the carpet and I just picked them up. Unfortunately a fell of the gobs got collected in the waste tank, which made it a bit difficult to clean. The waste tank is a solid unit and the filter area is hard to get at. I resorted to an old metal coat hanger and was able to remove the gobs. I wish that Bissell had made the waste tank easier to clean. But, most won't have that problem. But I do recommended that you vacuum the carpet well before using the Bissell.

I have tons of area rugs and the machine is perfect for them. The carpets dry quickly because the machine doesn't deposit too much water. It's actually fun to use. If I had dense, wall to wall carpet I don't think the machine would be adequate. But for area rugs, or low pile carpets, it's perfect!

Purchase this item because we have pets and I have children so my carpet gets a lot of wear from training the dog and regular spills. Great for everyday cleaning works like a charm and not differcult to operate and use. the only thing is that the cup is small so me and my sons have to refill with water and cleaning solution. All and all great investment.

It's usually the case, but you really do get what you pay for. I should have known by the $$$ price tag, but the reviews were pretty good. I just spent an entire Saturday cleaning our carpets and they look about the same. I was impressed on the areas that are low traffic (dining room & guest bedrooms) but the high traffic areas seem untouched. They miss named this "deep cleaning" product. It should be called something more like- a carpet duster. It just gets the very top of the carpet.

I had bought and used a Hoover carpet cleaner in the past and in this same price range. It was terrible. This machine is 10 times better and does a terrific job! It cleaned up my office carpet quickly and actually removed the tough soiled areas of the carpet the Hoover could not/would not clean. Biggest positive is that you can see it sucking up the carpet dirt as it works. The suction leaves your carpet nearly dry when you're finished - astounding!!

I received my Bissell only a short while ago, however it's a God sent. It's so light and easy to store, yet it does the cleaning of a big boss cleaner. My 2 year has made it a hobby to throw his food when he's eaten all he wants and unfortunetly that means spaghetti, juice, etc..... This Bissell has performed remarkably. I have no complaints and hope this will shed some light on the quality of this product.
