Have purschased 3 vacuums in 5 years and this is the only one that has consistantly worked well...happy with performance..jus twish it was a little lighter...heavy to transport up and down stairs

great value for the money
After researching numerous uprights and burning out another well known upright and resorting to hiding one of those expensive jobbers that my hubbie bought when a salesman came to the house (I LOATHE that thing) I decided upon this Bissell and I am so glad I did! It's sturdily built and easy to maneuver.The on- board attachments are simple to use-the hose is long enough to vacuum floor to ceiling drapery but I know it won't make it up carpeted stairs-you would have to move it to the top after vacuuming the bottom half .It's fairly light and does it suck! It can handle our many pounds of pet hair without clogging like the aformentioned vacs frequently did.It's very easy to empty and I love that I don't have to worry about running out of bags. I highly recommend this vac

Wonderful product
This vacuum is replacing my 15 year old bag vacuum. The first time I used it I noticed no dust coming out like my old one; the hepa filter, very beneficial to my allergies!. It picked up everything in its path. I researched for a long time and chose this Bissel because it has everything I was looking for. The only problem I had with it was in vacuuming my runner; the vacuum is so powerful it kept wanting to suck it up. I am learning the best way to use it on that and perhaps I will try using the furniture attachment. The price was very good and it was easy to put together as well. I highly recommend this vacuum.

Works Great
This is the second Bissell Healthy Home that I have purchased and they both have been great. Nothing happened to the other one, my ex took it in the divorce. They have made a couple of changes to this model and it seems to be lighter than the original. They changed the placement of the filters and it seems to have more power. This is one great vacuum for the price!
