Does your machine actually heat the water? Mine comes out near cold (after the hot tap water has cooled) so I'm trying to figure out if mine's defective or that's just the way it is. Also, how much spray pressure do you get when holding the trigger? Thanks

This little green machine lasted less than months. I would not recommend it.Read More
This works really well, but it really is just for spot cleaning; the widest attachment is all of three inches. That said, if you need a spot cleaner, you won't be disappointed. I do think the price is a bit high for what it is, though.Read More
Unit does not heat up water. Hose doesn't detach from body of unit, so difficult to clean. And it is very noisy too. We do not use it with any chemical, we just use it to rinse our rugs when the animals barf of the ____ water spills! It works good for those purposes, but it isn't as advertised.Read More

This saved my carpet. My dog had to stay inside due to an illness and never got the hang of the "pee pad". I thought my carpet was done for and I was so embarrassed as to what it looked like. But this Bissell got out weeks old stains that I previously struggled over. It has served me well during recent non-doggy accident (kids spilling soda, spaghetti sauce and once vomit.) I wish the head of the vaccum tool was a little larger and I have some pet hair that is suck in the area that sucks the moisture out of the carpet. But overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.Read More

Questions & Answers
Hello kittyapple, Thank you for your inquiry; you will be contacted by Customer Care.
Mine heats water within seconds. I don't get (and did not expect) any spray pressure. It just came out and spread over an area of about 1 foot wide. Not pressurized. More like what you get from a spray window cleaner.
Will this still work well if you just use water?
Thank you for the question. It would work better if you use the recommended cleaning solvent.
What type of cleaner do you use in this machine ?
This machine uses Little Green Advanced Cleaning Formula.
If this cleaner is written as being such a good cleaner, and people who putchased it are leaving reviews tha it is deep cleaning their pet stains why is the bissell spotbot pet compact deep cleaner 50 dollars more? What is justification for the large difference in price?
I don't know why there is such a large price difference. I looked into both, and decided to purchase this one. The spotbot pet actually has a turning bruch on the bottom that you set over the stain and leave it there to clean. This cleaner, you manually use the attachment to clean. It works very well, I don;t think the more expensive one is needed, unless you don't want to manually attack the stain.

How to Pick a Mat to Use Under an Office Chair
Carpeted floors usually provide too much resistance for office chairs with rollers to work well. In addition, rolling a chair over carpet will wear down the carpet fibers over time. There are several styles and colors of these mats. When choosing a mat to use under your rolling office chair, it's not always best to choose the first one you see -- some are more suitable for low-pile carpets or wood floors, and some are perfect for use on heavy, thick carpeting.
