  • Works but loud

    I like the large sized water tank, humidistat and that it is filter-less. Although I haven't double checked it's setting using a separate humidistat, the humidifier appears to work fairly well. Unfortunately this humidifier is quite loud. Luckily I can sleep through most sounds/noises. But, compared to the ultrasonic humidifier it has replaced, this thing is noisy.

  • I cleaned my humidifier because the tank empty was lit (when the tank was full) and now very little mist is coming out the top when it is on the highest setting. Suggestions?

    • According to the product reviews the humidifier is quiet, requires frequent cleaning, and there is no information provided regarding the temperature of the mist.

    • This unit is very quiet. There aren't any parts that need replacing, though cleaning for optimal humidity mist is required. If you use heavy tap water it will put the minerals in the air which will deposit on furniture. With regular house cleaning you won't notice. The temperature of the mist is dependent on the temperature of the water you put in. It does not heat the water before diffusing it to the air.
