I selected this humidifier because it does not require a replacement filter. I am highly displeased with the quality of the item. The casing is flimsy and the parts do not fit together well. The first time I used the humidifier it leaked profusely. I checked the fit of the parts and adjusted it according to manufacturer directions. The humidifier still leaked all over my hardwoods.I read through the directions again and tried using the humidifier one more time with a pan under it. It still leaked and I am giving up on it.
