Our order of 6 Biedermier bar stools just arrived....they are the best purchase I have made all year. They are excellent quality, good workmanship, solid, NO damages (packed great) and we can't wait to enjoy them in our rebuilt home. I truly searched many good furniture stores in the Houston, TX area, but I was not willing to spend $400 or more per chair. Then, Overstock to the rescue. These bar stools are a fantastic value. Overstock is one of my favorite web sites for purchases...now I know why. Thanks, Overstock.
Good solid chair with great looks for the money. The only things I would complain about is a couple minor dings caused by shipping and one of the back rest do not match the others due to the grain of the wood. Overall I would recommend these chairs if your looking for something that is built to last.
I am amazed. Bar stools are horribly expensive. I refuse to pay 499. for each. After looking for months my friend told me about Overstock. It took me 10 minutes (and yes, I really did depend on the reviews) to find exactly what I was looking for. These stools are heavy, sturdy, well made....and beautiful! They came already assembled, each carefully wrapped. Even the UPS man was amazed. You can't beat the shipping price either. I now look at Overstock before I go anywhere else on line.
The picture really doesn't do this barstool justice. They really are great looking. I'd say medium to dark brown oak finish. Well constructed. The foot rest w/ the metal protection strip is a nice detail, although hard to see in the picture. No assembly required. Nicely packed and no shipping damage. Bought them w/ 10% off coupon. Ordered on a Saturday, showed up following Tuesday! Thanks Overstock!
