    The first set I ordered came with hairline fractures in the large canister. Customer service was excellent - sent a new set and a return label. Second set was good. These are somewhat rustic - there are some soft waves in the canister and not an absolutely perfect finish. But, for the price, I think it is a good value.

  • The lid on the big canister didn't fit.... twice.

    We needed canisters for flour and sugar. We received this American Atelier 3 piece canister set from my wife's mother at Christmas. They're very nice looking; however, the lid of the big canister doesn't fit properly. I'm not sure if the canister rim isn't perfectly round, or if it's the lid. It's very hard to push closed, but the rubber gasket isn't enough to seal it. Since it isn't air tight, we can't use it for it's intended purpose -- to store flour or sugar. When my wife told her mother about the issue, my mother in-law reached out to the store she got it from and they sent us another set of canisters. They kindly said to keep the old set. When the new set arrived, we encountered the same problem. Again, the lid on the big canister doesn't fit. So now we have six canisters, but neither big canister works. This is very disappointing. We just want one set that works and my wife is too embarrassed to go back to her mother and tell her the lids don't work.
