Stylish and Durable
I don't like to have to replace things like this very often, so I look for things that won't become dated and that are durable. I got both with this set. I wanted a pitcher for Sangria, Iced Tea, Lemonade etc. and glasses I could use everyday. Again..got both with this set. The weight might be a bit heavy for some, but we love it. So much so that I recently ordered another set that included "high ball" glasses for juice glasses or ...high balls.

Very beautiful, but larger than normal glasses
These are beautiful glasses, however just be aware, they won't fit normal wine racks, and they were too big for my cabinets.. very large glasses, but nice, high quality, overall i'm satisfied, just wish the base was smaller so I could hang them.

great for iced tea
I use this pitcher to make iced tea. I pour boiling water in it with about 5 tea bags (I used to insert a metal spoon to dissipate the heat, but i've stopped doing that because this pitcher can withstand the heat). I let it cool to room temp and then add some Crystal Light lemonade to make the Iced Tea/lemonade drink. It's awesome! The pitcher holds a lot and it refrigerates well. I don't like plastic containers, and I like the feel of this heavy glass pitcher. It's very pretty to serve in, as well. Matching glasses are perfect too.
