Customer Reviews
I purchased this rocker because my mom had one when I was growing up and used to rock my brother and I in it. Bentwood rockers are known for their good quality. This rocker that I purchased was not at all what I expected. The cover doesn't cover the black seating of the rocker, so it looks cheap. It is not comfortable at all and it isn't even easy to rock in. Plus, where the arms are located it is not convenient if you are rocking a baby to sleep because they are right near the baby's head. I would not recommend this rocker.
Attractive and a good price but it doesnt actually rock back and forth as much I would have thought. Bit disappointing as I bought it for a newborn feeding chair. It is nice to look at and comfortable to sit on but needs more action!

The chair is supposed to have a uniformed arch at the bottom so it can rock smoothly. This chair does not. It has a bump in one area that is very noticeable and does not rock the way it should. The directions have no words and I had to open the picture on overstock.com to see what it should look like.

I purchased this rocking chair for my baby nursery. What got my attention was the modern style of this rocking chair and that it would fit with the rest of the decor.A few things to know about this chair. Because of the style of this chair, when you sit in it you automatically lean pretty far back to begin with. It's not a chair that you sit straight up in. So inorder to rock the chair, you need to use your calf muscles by raising and lowering your legs (like going up and down on your tippy toes). This is great for building nice calf muscles! I'm 5'-8" so it's not that difficult for me to easily reach the floor to rock, but if you are a petite framed person this chair wouldn't be very comfortable for you.Regarding the cushion- it is made 2" too wide for the seat. So it bunches up near the arms and looks very sloppy all the time. The pad is only about 1 1/2" thick so the foam will wear down very quickly. You will need to have another cushion made pretty soon after purchasing if you sit in this chair on a regular basis. The microsuede material is pretty cheap looking, and again, the fabric cover is made too large for the foam insert. Definitely a sloppy look overall. I think it looks better without the cushion!Even with these complaints, I still would recommend the chair to others. I am going to have a new cushion made (in the proper size) in a fun fabric and I think that will make a huge difference. One wish I have is that the frame was offered in a black finish. It was very easy to put together, I can see that I will probably have to tighten the screws occasionally to keep it sturdy, but you would have that with any piece of furniture that you put together yourself.

Product arrived much sooner than expected (Yeah!) However, assembly instructions were VERY faded and difficult to understand. Ordered matching chairs as anniversary gift to each other. My husband's is still fine - mine, however, started to split immediately. If the issue was weight (there is no limit stated) his should have been the one to go. However, mine receives more use. I can only guess that this is the problem. My husband braced the base and superglued parts together. It is still barely attached but functional. Wish it worked better - they are VERY comfortable.
