These sheers, which I purchased in copper, are very pretty. They have a good amount of weight in the hem to keep them from blowing up, and they let in a lot of light while still providing good privacy. I was so excited to find colored sheers that didn't look garish (once hung at least...out of the package I was skeptical). My only complaint is that they were quite pricey. Also, I wish they would post on the site that these curtains are by Signature, just like the Nirvano curtains (and several others on the site, I suspect), which I purchased in copper for the top layer in my curtain ensemble. I spent a lot of time worrying about whether the two coppers would match, only to realize when I got them that they are coordinating items by the same company.
I ordered these curtains to be used together with other heavy light-blocking curtains. My main objectives were to cover very unattractive large windows and have some sort of protection from the sun during the day. I used to have blinds for that, but I really do not think that they add to the ambiance of a bedroom. These curtains are perfect for both tasks. They are semi-transparent, so protect well from the sun, and thanks to a striped pattern, they cover the windows, so that you cannot see the "pattern" created by dampness accumulated between the panes.
