This is the second of the same set I purchased. I love it! The quality is very high and it looks beautiful. Unfortunately, I accidentally damaged the first comforter shortly after I purchased it. (Don't iron anything on the bed!!! It will burn the comforter and leave a melted scorch mark!) I lived with the melted spot (about 1-inch square) for a short time, and considered patching it from fabric from one of the pillows. Then I decided that I could use the additional pillows and throw in my famly room if I bought another set. That made the second purchase worthwhile. I am happy I ordered another set. The quality is much better than you could get for the price elsewhere.
The 22 piece bedding ensemble is, dollar for dollar, a great value. However, when I unpacked the items there was an overwhelming smell of diesel fuel -- whether from the shipping, prior storage or what I could not tell. I washed the smaller pieces and left the comforter on the clothes line in the sun and air for about 10 hours and the smell was taken care of. The quality of the sheets & pillow cases is very low (and the thread count indicated that). The linens are packed with filler of some sort and after 3 washings and dryings they are still full of lint. I will probably not use them for bedding. There are a few flaws in the material of the comforter and other pieces but, again, for the price it's a great value.
I need to buy two pair of drapes for the room now to match this beautiful set. I will wash the two sets of sheets before I put a set on my bed . both sets look scratchy but after washing them will be comfortable to sleep on . Thank you ....Lee
First time I purchased on line, I had a choice of company's that I could redeem my company incentive from. Shopping for hours what I would buy was easy to navigate around. This Bedding Ensemble was a great package deal. The feel of the sheets and material was luxurious. California King Bed sheets can be expensive, and I was happy with the way they fit over the feather mattress top. Getting two sets of sheets was nice. The colors were easy on the eyes too.
I ordered this bed in a bag and received it in just a few days. It was wrinkled when I unpacked all the items. I just ironed the comforter once and all the valances and everything looks great. For the price, I couldn't believe how many items were included. I needed more valances, so I made them out of the throw. My bedroom looks fantastic and I don't think anyone will beleive me when I tell them how much I paid. I would definetly recommend this to my friends, but I don't want them to copy me.
