as always, Overstock delivers. I like the product looking at it on the web, and I like it still after I got it.

This was fairly easy to assemble but definately not worth the money. The picture is deceiving. It looks a lot better than the actual stand. I am getting a flat screen that is larger than my current tv so I needed a smaller tv stand. Thought this would work. Size might work but that is all. I have quite a few dvds and thought I was going to be able to store them in this stand but the slots are too small. I don't even think it would hold cds because there is nothing to hold them in the back and they would probably slip down behind the slots. The back of the storage area where the dvds are supposed to go has no way to secure it. I used regular glue but it will not hold for long. I am very disappointed and if I had a way to ship this back I would. DON'T BUY
I didn't expect real wood at this price, but I did expect better than this. The "beech" is a thin veneer over very cheap particle board. The caster are held on by four 1/4" screws into the particle board. They may stay on so long as you never move the unit. By comparison, I found a better unit at local chain store the next day for $****. If I hadn't given this as a gift, it would have been returned.
This cart looks much better in the photo than in real life. It was difficult to put together, and it is not as sturdy as I would have liked. It also was more expensive than it should be for the quality. I mistakenly thought that the media slots were for DVDs since it is a TV cart, but the slots only accommodate Cds. On a positive note, it does match my other oak office furniture, and it has three shelves for the DVR and knickknacks.
Easy to assemble. Nice deep shelves. Check the measurements. It holds a 20 inch older TV (not flat panel) easily, maybe a 26". It looks like it would hold up to a 32", but it won't. It's a small piece of furniture. It looks great. Enough room on the shelves for a VCR, DVD player and a cable box! Couldn't ask for more.
This is a good TV stand. It's very easy to assemble and it looks good.
