Sat Aug 18 2012 12:19:33 GMT-0500 (Central Daylight Time) Wonderful, solid twin bed frame. Assembly is simple and straightforward. It nicely fits my Blueberry 7-inch Twin-size Memory Foam Mattress (http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Blueberry-7-inch-Twin-size-Memory-Foam-Mattress/5581364/product.html). Many reviewers likely review this relative to youth/adolescent use but, I am an adult male and I am very happy with this bed. It sits low, as per the description, and I love the height. Ok, I am 5'3" 200 lbs (*) with short legs. *_* The slats are tied together; something I didn't expect but was excited to see upon unboxing. This helped greatly during assembly. I love my frame & mattress combination.

The bed frame arrived on time and was packaged well. It took awhile to put it together, as there are a lot of screws, but one person can do it by themselves. The bed is solid and feels very sturdy with the mattress in place. We chose to put a twin box spring on it, too, to make the bed taller but you don't need one. The chrome bed frame is shiny and the flower designs in the middle of the headboard and footboard are a pretty addition. Our granddaughter LOVES this bed.

My daughter recently turned 10 and we figured it was time to upgrade her twin size bed to something more "big girl" like. She wanted a tufted headboard but it's hard to find something nice enough for a young girl. My daughter loves it! It's really beautiful and well made. 5 stars all the way.

Love the bed - it seems very high quality, and as someone else said, it's twin size, but doesn't seem like a child's bed. Very sophisticated and mature style. Great for my college age son's room here at home, which is very small. However about a month after we set it up, he was sitting in bed reading and the headboard broke just with the weight of leaning against it to read. The top rail separated from the side piece. Just called Overstock and they promise to send us another headboard, even though it's been more than 30 days. Love Overstock and their service! I hope they come through. I still gave the bed 4 stars because given the way the rest of the bed appears, I think this may be a fluke.

While I love the look of these twin beds ( I ordered two) I was greatly disappointed that the ex-long twin bed mattress did not fit the frame, the information for the bed listed 82 plus inches over all and the mattress are two long for the frames at 80". I had to spend an additional 158.00 to buy more frames with parts to attach the head and foot boards .

First off, I should say that I do recommend this product. I have a memory foam mattress, and this supports it correctly, making it much more comfortable. It should also be easier to move than a box spring since it folds up. That said, I bought this particular one because all of the others looked like they were two twin foundations bolted together. It turns out that this one is also two twin foundations bolted together. I have no doubt that these bolts will be the point of failure, but at least there are a lot of them and they look pretty strong. Also, my bed weighs significantly less than usual, so I doubt it will be a problem for me. Regarding squeaking or shifting: I haven't noticed any. I can walk on my bed and it feels completely solid (well, as solid as the mattress..). I haven't heard any squeaking, no matter how much movement is occurring on the bed. The most important bolts for holding the frame together have rubber spacers, so I assume they are preventing any squeaking.

It is exactly what I wanted. We have it in a room that is decorated with Harley Davidson memorabillia. It matched our chair perfectly with the faux black leather. It was exactly as shown in the picture

I bought the black twin size and a year ago I bought the black full size. They are both very nice! My 17 and 13 year old sleep on them. I put a memory foam mattress on the full size and I have a twin mattress with a bunkie board underneath on the twin size.

Love these beds!!! got them for a clients beach house. They are strong, modern and great looking. Make the room look like a cloud. Add cream or white bedding and you will create a lovely welcoming retreat for visitors. As a designer I find these beds check all the boxes. Good for adults & kids.

This bed is beautiful, I just love it. I looked at a lot of more expensive beds, but they all looked cheap and felt rather flimsy. Not this bed! It feels very solid and has a beautiful warm finish. It was wrapped-up very well and arrived in perfect condition. If you order this you won't be disappointed!

Exactly what I was looking for for my guest room. I bought two twin beds and, along with my writing table and small dresser it is perfectly inviting to my guests. I love the old world look and the dark bronze color and they look so nice with the matching quilt sets I put on them.

Very sturdy. Has a 15" clearance under a daybed, which is snug enough but not too tight. My mattress is fairly thick and fits with no problem. A good locking device designed to be easy to release and control when you want it to pop up, but won't come loose on its own. My son has slept on it and says it's very comfortable.

We ordered this bed for my 7 year old son's room since because we had had enough of the full over twin bunk bed and wanted to free up some of the wasted area from the top bunk, which we never used. I am a 128 lb, 5'2", 42 year old woman and had no problem putting this together by myself. None of the pieces are too heavy and all the screw holes lined up perfectly. I probably spend about 30-45 minutes total in assembly of this product. Once assembled, the bed is extremely solid and I have no worries that it will last us for years! There was even a little room underneath to slide a few small things for storage. All in all, this was a great purchase and the price was about the same as other "faux" wood beds you see out there. I consider this to be much more attractive and of better quality. You also don't need a box spring with this bed, which was another cost savings since we didn't have one when the mattress was on the bunk bed. I would highly recommend this bed!

Stands up to the abuse of a boy. This is one well made bed. However, if you use slats (I have some from ****), bear in mind that a mattress will move around since the slats won't lay deep enough for it to have a hold. I wish they would have a matching suite, would buy the whole set in queen.

Purchased this bed because we are considering downsizing and a twin couch/guest bed seems like a practical solution to a smaller house. My husband and I put it together on a Saturday...took all day. Looks beautiful!! and has drawers. Does require two handy people to put together...well worth the effort!!

I was looking for a twin bed that did not have a headboard but could take a trundle underneath - which was very hard to find!! This bed frame fit the bill. It's VERY sturdy and a little time consuming to put together - but it does all that I needed for the grandchildren's bonus room. I was able to attach the dust ruffle with Velcro on the frame itself - worked great! I highly recommend this bed - great price for a great product. PS - I did have a problem with the shipment of the 2 beds. I only received 1 - which showed that I received 2 boxes. Well - I did receive 2 boxes - but 1 bed comes in 2 boxes!! I had a very hard time getting anyone to understand and send me the 2nd bed!!! Finally - I spoke to someone that was able to get the 2nd bed shipped.
