Bed is great looking, but perfect for a guest bedroom that doesn't get much use!!!
The bed looks great now that it's finally put together, but it was a pain to put together. It's all allen wrench screws with awkward angles so you can only make about 1/8th of a turn at a time. The instructions call for dowels to also be glued in, but they only provide a tiny little tube of super glue, which of course ended up getting glued to the floor the first time we set it down. The materials itself are great- solid wood, multiple support pieces underneath the bed. It's just very poorly designed in the way you have to put it together. So if you like the bed, get it, just be very patient and plan on about 4-5 hours to put it together.
I would warn any one who orders this to have a hand cart or multiple people to assist in bringing the actual box that is delivered into your home and room that it will remain. I love the height of this bed. I purchased different founton and it was way too low. This one is the right height for easily getting in and out of it. It is very sturdy. I would recommend that a founton cover be purchased, as well.The cusion that came with this bed is blue pok a dots.
The Color was disappointing. The color is lighter. The texture was different than I Expected. I wish it was a tad darker.
The bed was simple to put together,the instructions easy to follow. It took less than an hour moving slowly so I wouldn't mess up. This bed is sturdy,attractive and I am so very pleased I show it off to everyone that comes over.Thank you Overstock.com.
