I should have checked the dimensions of the queen bed. It is oversized and as a result the queen size matress gets "lost" in the oversized bedframe. There is ample room for extra thick blankets to be tucked in and under the matress and even then it is too wide.

I like the bed, it's strong and well made. Easy to put together. I just wish I got a darker color, but oh well, I still like it. The dimensions are spot on!

Great bed. Very impressive. The headboard is smaller than I imagined (height wise) but I never looked at the dimensions before purchasing. We still love it. The mattress fits perfectly in the bed.

The photo is a great representation of the bed, color matched very closely to how it appears on the website. My only suggestion is that the center support that the 2 center legs are attached to could be made out of solid wood instead of plywood. In fact, my husband and I will probably replace ours soon with solid wood. Good, i would like to see the inside dimensions so that you can compare to your mattress size. My King mattress fits, but with zero extra room on the edges and ends for tucking in the comforter. The only dimensions I saw were the overall dimensions.

We like this bed in the guest room. It is solid, however, the dimensions were not quite as stated. It was longer than the inches indicated and we had to cut it down to size in order to get it to fit in the location we had wanted to fit it in. We ordered it because of the dimensions, but it turned out to be 2 inches longer than stated which required the adjustment. Luckily, my fiance is handy. It makes a perfect day/gues bed and we have it in our third bedroom. Quite comfy with a decent mattress. I like it and would recommend it but just be careful if you need to fit it in a precise location.

I do enjoy this product, now that it has been assembled. However, it has a few flaws. There was no allen wrench included with the package to use on the screws. The screws were not long enough to assemble properly. This was annoying. One of the top pieces was slightly irregular in shape. Coating on the metal can be easily scratched. Took two people to assemble. We were pleased on the overall effect and dimensions when completed. Not bad for the price.

This bed is exactly what I was looking for. I had wanted to purchase a similar looking bed at West Elm but the dimensions of the bed frame was too low. I needed a bed that could put a pop up trundle underneath and this works perfectly. It is made of metal and quite sturdy. It was pretty simple to put together- it took about half an hour. Best of all the bed is comfortable and quite stylish. Now I just need to find bolsters and pillows to fully complete the look :)

Happy overall with the bed. It seems sturdy, but the delivery guys put it together, not me. I don't have a problem with the pleather. I find that even some furniture that is supposed to be genuine leather has a shiny fake look. Plus, once your bedding is all set up, it really looks nice. The only thing I'd advise, is that if floor space is an issue I'd really look at the dimensions of this bed. It extends a couple of inches past the mattress on all sides. I just let the comforter hang over to cover the gap, but if space is a big consideration, measure.

This bed is just gorgeous & stunning! The color is much, much better in person! It is a very, very light velvet dove grey, it is so subtle! If you are worried about the tacks...well... don't! They complement this bed dead on, any smaller just would not have worked out! I did think the headboard would be higher though from the dimensions given, I think the measurement given is from the ground and not from the start of the headboard! I looked long & hard before choosing this bed, I wanted something modern but not too outhere but most of all I wanted something that I would still like for quite a few years down the road, this bed is just that! It is very attractive and a definite head turner!

We wanted a simple, low profile platform for our new king size bed. We found this one on overstock and were happy with the price and dimensions. It arrived very quickly and was well-packaged. Putting it together took several hours, but the instructions were clear and easy. We found we were missing 2 bolts to attach the foot board to the side rails. A quick message to Overstock customer support and the bolts were in the mail to me. 2 days later, the bolts were in my house and done. AWESOME customer service - the best I've had in a long time!! Bed is very sturdy and nicely made. Fabric was a little different than expected - very nice color, but turned out to have a slightly more chenille quality to it than I was expecting from the photos.

I needed to furnish our guest room, but on a budget. This bed is perfect and looks similar to metal beds from furniture stores, but maybe 1/4 the price. Assembly wasn't too bad and it's dimensions were accurate--- mattress fits perfectly.

Very easy to put together. I was worried that there were no notches to show where some of the screws were to be placed, but it was simple to figure out. The size of all dimensions were just right for our new house with a smaller master room. Our 14" memory foam mattress fits snug and nearly doubles the floor height. If you had a thinner mattress, it might not look right or be comfortable climbing in or out.

I'm well pleased with my bed. The only negative I have to offer is that the footboard is pretty short; however, the dimensions are given so it's my fault for not taking into account the thickness of our mattress set which causes the footboards to appear even shorter. When our bed arrived, one of the boxes had been damaged in shipment. I immediately started an instant chat with an O customer rep and told him about the damaged box. I explained that it would be a couple of weeks before we would be assembling the bed so I wouldn't know of any damage until then. He assured me there would be no problem in returning/exchanging. The good news is that the bed was damage-free, all parts were included, and assembly was a breeze.

I was hesitant to purchase something as large as a bed on line. Seemed as though this could be problematic, but the reviews I read about this and other O.co beds gave confidence (problems that had occurred were resolved by Overstock). The system for supporting the mattress is very, very strong and logical. It's lighter than that on another bed I have, yet it's quiet and substantial. The finish had some small blemishes that I won't notice after a month or two more; but I will say that for my taste, I'd rather have had the bed be a powdercoated finish that is grainy, which would better resemble wrought iron. This one is not glossy, but not matte, either, so there is a subtle sheen. It's a metal bed, can't be mistaken from close up to be wrought iron. The other superb feature on this bed is that it is one of the lowest headboards available out there, and we have a wall of windows below which we wanted this to be, so that was important. The dimensions were spot-on accurate.

I looked everywhere for a bed frame with specific headboard dimensions for our office/guest room. I looked in many furniture places and finally found this bed on Overstock. This bed was about 1/4 of the price of the beds I was looking at! My husband put this together in no time without much trouble. The look was just as pictured - but the one thing that was unexpected was how sturdy the bed frame is. We are very impressed.

This bed was exactly what I hoped. The shiny nail heads are as big as a quarter. I did not need a low profile box spring like other reviewers stated. I would recommend this bed to a friend. The delivery was simple, white glove all the way. The padded headboard allows for comfort reading in bed. Dimensions are as exactly stated. The gray color is pretty. Extra support under bed even. Great. Great.

This was the first time I ordered from Overstock and so I was a bit nervous about how the bed would look and assemble. But now every time I look at it, I am so happy with the style and the color. The wood is beautifully finished in a reddish mahogany and it matches the dresser I had just refinished perfectly. I was surprised, however, to find that the mattress sits much higher than on most beds (I probably should have paid more attention to the dimensions) and so it has a different rather stately look, but one that I like. Also the slats were a bit thin so I bought two other 2 x 4s and installed them to ensure stability.

This is my first review EVER. I buy a lot of things online and think so highly of this product that I wanted to put the word out there. I reviewed several cots and hidaway beds. Most were in the range of $$to $$$. I needed two temporary beds for guest when they come over and for preparing for a move when we are selling our bedroom set. I did a lot of research on youtube.com, *****.com, and google searches. I watched the videos, compared the prices, and looked at the quality. I needed a cot that was fairly light weight, compact when folded up, well put together for the price, and reasonably priced. It boiled down to two items for me: the "emergency" cot from Slumberjack ($$ with shipping from *****.com) and this iBed ($$$ with shipping from overstock.com). I ordered both and tried them out. I got the iBed first and had a friend over for a holiday weekend. He is bigger guy about 210# and slept VERY comfortably on it for 3 nights. I also had another friend sleep over but on the couch and the cot was more comfortable. Then I received the cot from Slumberjack. The cot is excellent for the price, in my opinion. It does sway a bit from side to side long ways but was to be expected from the reviews. The surface of the Slumberjack was more taught and rigid than the iBed because the iBed has springs. So the iBed was much more comfortable to sleep on especially since it comes with a sleeping pad. The advantages of the Slumberjack, on the other hand is that it is a bit lighter (16# compared to around 22# I think), it is more compact (folds down to about half the size of the iBed), and it is more durable and rigid for light camping (comes with a case and the material is all water proof / resistant). I decided to send the Slumberjack back and get two of the iBeds even though it was a bit more costly. The reason was that I was mainly going to use it at the house and potentially use it for "camping" (i.e. car to tent camping) and wasn't too concerned about getting them dirty. The iBed foam mattress has a removable zipper cover that can be washed separately. One other thing to mention is that when I received the iBed there was paperwork to get fitted bedding for it that are exact to the dimensions. I found that a queen size or even double sized mattress fitted linens will work for the lower sheet and the regular sheet as the normal sheet on top, both just draping down to the ground. But if you want an exact fit it might be worth a google search or contacting the manufacturer to get them.

I ordered the twin sized version of this bed. The pictures on the site all show a row of legs going down the middle of the bed's frame, but that's not the case at all with the twin. The twin has four legs, only. The dimensions described on the site are also WAY off. The bed is DEFINITELY 81" long so if you have a space requirement, keep that in mind. Also, they say the bed is 15" high, but that is not even close. You only have 7" of storage under the bed (like you would any normal bed...this is not your typical platform bed with more than a foot of storage underneath). Be prepared to buy risers for that if you need it. I have a sleep number mattress and - although the frame is very sturdy construction - it feels like the mattress might do a little better with a foundation (a low box-spring). This bed has wooden slats, and it has more slats than most beds (high quality stuff here), but it still feels like the mattress may need a solid foundation to distribute any weight evenly to keep the individual slats from denting into the mattress at intervals. I don't know anything about memory foam mattresses, but it seems like the concept would be the same, so it's something to consider. (Also, the mattress was expensive and I'm a little paranoid about it!) This bed is set up for a foundation to go with the bed (this is where the 15" height comes in...the top of the frame is 15" from the ground to accomodate a low box spring) so it fits perfectly. Now for the assembly. First, my package had missing spring washers and was also missing the Allen wrench. We had a wrench and our next-door neighbor had the washers, so no issues there other than some frustration. Second, the thing is super-simple to put together. All of the pieces are labeled and half of the hardware is already installed. You just have to put the head and foot of the frame on the four legs (again, this is for a twin) and attach the side rails. Simple. Everything is pre-drilled and it all fit to perfection. The slats are even simple, because they are all attached with heavy-weight ribbon (sort of like a Jacob's Ladder toy), so once you get the first slat in between the rails, the rest of them are already attached to the ribbon, so you just have to pull the ribbon taught and it's perfectly distanced from the slat before it. The problem is, there are no pre-drilled holes for these slats and the only tool they require you to provide is a Phillip's head screwdriver. There is NO WAY to hand-power through solid wood with a plain old screw-driver and these screws unless you have some serious upper-body strength. Thank God for power drills! If you have one (or know someone who has one) the slats are the last requirement to put the bed together and you can get them done in record time. Otherwise, be prepared for sore, aching biceps and a two-day project, because these screws have to be in that wood tight in order to make the thing stay together the way it's supposed to. Once it’s together it is one of the best-constructed beds from some of the highest-quality material I have ever seen at this price (which is why I couldn’t give the bed any less than 5 stars, even with the headaches!). It has a beautiful, classy-looking shape and finish that would complement any décor and I would highly recommend it..
