I purchased this bed along w/ two night stands....several years ago. Assembly was tedious, but not hard. Our furniture has held up fine - admittedly though, use has been quite limited as it is in a guest bedroom. I have received numerous compliments. The headboard is a little shorter than I would prefer - but that I knew from the dimensions. Just don't overdo it w/ pillows. Our only problem with this bed.........is painfully hitting one's knees on the two posts at the foot of the bed especially when changing the bedding. They protrude from the rest of the frame. I made foam covers for the top few inches of these - with some dark colored rubber carpet pad .........hot melt glued them to the top of the posts. Not attractive, but they are covered by the bedding/coverlet and it saves my knees and those of my guests.

Two major issues: 1. Frame does not fit a full boxspring as tightly as shown in the photo. Left too much room around the box which does not look great. 1. Another huge concern is that the finials do not fit. I had replacements kindly sent to me by Overstock and those didn't fit either. Hopefully that's a problem that is fixed with the manufacturer. The big takeaway? The bed has a clean, modern look which is hard to find with canopies. Great price point too. If you can accept its shortcomings with faulty dimensions and go purchase finials on your own, definitely get it.

This bed is just what I hoped it would be, nice and solid build. The color online looks slighty more gold, it is more of a mocha and biege tweed, the fabric has more dimension and charcter than it does in the picture. You could use mocha, gold or beige accessories as well as a muted gold. The silver nail head trim is a nice touch. The slat take a little time to put in but they are easy to assemble and everything went together well.

You've read all the great reviews and I totally agree. Great packaging, shipping, color finish etc. overall great bed although it seemed a little light in weight to me. The only "weak link" is the head frame which connects both hind legs to extnesion legs.... both sides (pipes) of the head frame have crumpled ends to fit (by force) into two extension legs. For those interested in the TWIN dimensions, here they are: 51.5 inches high x 82.25 inches wide x 43.5 inches deep *** Height above ground of metal slats: 8 1/8 ", therfore if you have say 9" box and 9" mattress, the top of bed elevation would be 26 1/8". **** Space below side rails: Approx. 6"

I bought this trundle for my daughter since the room she shares with her sister is too small to fit a second twin bed. This trundle fits perfectly under the twin bed we already own, was easy to assemble , and seems sturdy. The only thing I would like to point out to potential buyers is that the dimensions listed under the product are slightly off. I noticed this after taking measurements and realizing if the listed dimensions were accurate, the trundle wouldn't likely fit under a twin bed--it would be a little too wide and too short. The correct dimensions are closer to 40 5/8 inches wide and 72 1/2 inches long. Overall, a great product and wonderful space saver!

The bed does look nice in our guest room, but our guest room is very small. The frame is much bigger than a queen (maybe 6-12 inches longer and wider) so it made very little space except for the bed. I had to return the bench we were planning to put at the foot of the bed because it wouldn't have fit right in our room.

This bed is exactly what I was looking for. The headboard is a little shorter than it looks in the picture online, but true to the dimensions given. The bed actually looks nice with a boxspring and a mattress, though the boxspring is not necessary. Bad came quickly and was relatively easy to assemble with 2 people. The color is as advertised.

We are really happy with the dimensions of this bed and how solid it feels. Only thing is we wished it came with more support slats but nothing a quick trip to Home Depot can't fix

I love the modern upholstered mid-century inspired beds at R&B and C&B, but seeing them in person... the quality wasn't worth the price tag. I purchased this bed in the color Grey. In person it is slightly darker and cooler toned than the picture on my iPad. If you plan to float this bed in a room, beware! The headboard is finished with linen-like fabric on the front, top and sides, but the back is finished with black fabric similar to the type found on the underside of sofas and chairs. The legs included are my least favorite design feature of the bed, the stain is inconsistent and the shape is wrong for mid-century, but replacements are easy to find. The four legs are 6 inches tall, and use 3/8 inch hanger bolts to secure into the head and footboards. Set-up of the bed was very simple and straight forward. I am a woman and was able to complete assembly by myself in 25 minutes, minus the slats. Slat assembly doesn't seem difficult, just repetitive, and may have added another 30 minutes. (I chose not to use slats in favor of using the low profile slatted base that accompanies my heavy European mattress. I also incorporated a separate steel bed beam support system to accommodate the extra weight of 275lbs). Earlier reviews stated that it was possible to get the mattress to sit deeper into the frame by changing the direction of the "L" brackets (presumably the support mounted on the side rails) this is no longer possible. The support bolted to the side rails is now a 1 inch x 1.75 inch piece of pine, allowing for 2 inches of mattress to sit inside the frame. The headboard with legs attached measures 38 inches tall, 68 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The footboard with legs measures 12 inches tall, 68 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Upholstered side rails are 81 inches long, 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Ground clearance is 6 inches. Interior dimensions of the frame are 81 inches long, 61 inches wide leaving plenty of room to tuck in sheets and a thick duvet. My only complaints - Linen fabric not used on back of headboard, stain & style of legs and lack of adjustable depth steel support rails. I would have paid a little more to get these features. Overall, both my husband and I are happy with the quality and savings.
