Beds

Your bed is one of the most important pieces of furniture in your home. Not only does it provide support for your mattress; it acts as the focal point of your bedroom. Here are a few things to consider when choosing a bed.
The first thing to consider is size. Queen-size beds are a popular choice for many bedrooms, but it's important to measure your bedroom to ensure your bed works well in your space. Especially tall people might feel most comfortable in a king-size bed, while a full-size bed would be large enough for petite individuals.
While the primary purpose of a bed frame is to provide support for the mattress and lift the bed from the floor, style is also an important consideration. Bed frames run the style gamut from eye-catching and contemporary to elegant and traditional. Some bed frames are very utilitarian, made only to support you and the mattress, while other frames, like a traditional sleigh bed, can be very ornate, with lavish carvings on the headboard and footboard. Upholstered beds add a luxurious touch to your bedroom; try a leather bed for a sophisticated feel or a tufted linen bed for something a bit more modern.
For some, a bed should also be multifunctional and versatile. Platform beds with extra storage space below the mattress offer easy storage solutions for small spaces. For kids' beds, an adjustable frame that transitions from a toddler bed to a twin-size bed may be a practical and economical choice. Bunk beds, loft beds, and trundle beds also allow you to create a fun and functional space for your children.

Bed arrived in perfect condition, well packaged. Assembly was fairly easy. The instructions for assembling the slats were not very clear. Bed is sturdy and attractive, but fabric is not really linen, when close up it looks 'faux.' Overall nice for the price.

I bought it back in December, assembled it with my boyfriend in about 2 hours. The instructions weren't super clear, but we were able to figure it out. At first we were worried that it wouldn't withstand the weight of a mattress plus a foam mattress that I bought new on top of that, plus both my boyfriend (225lbs) and me (150 lbs). But we have had no issues, at all. it's stylish and with the use of a bed skirt, if you choose to set it with two mattresses like me, it will look nice. very happy with it.

We bought a twin for our 2-year-old's "big girl bed." It was a cinch to put together (I did it in about 15 minutes), but it feels very solid once it is assembled. The only thing I would change is the color -- taupe implies a gray component, and this is more of a true medium beige. It's warm. The example picture to me looks more true taupe. But it is still a nice neutral and will work fine with all the elements in her room, so I'm not complaining...
