  I purchased this bed in a full size for a small guest room. Arrived quickly, in two packages which were left at my front door. I was able to get both packages upstairs and put the bed together myself without help. It took a little more than an hour to put together. The only thing I didn't realize from the description is that there are support legs running down the center of the bed. Not a problem, I am still able to store items underneath the bed, but I would have liked to have known that they were there. Bed is solid, no squeaks or movement when sleeping. Looks very nice. I got a 12 inch mattress which is level with footboard. Very pleased with this purchase.

  Well, first I have to compliment overstock on its customer service. When I ordered this bed, it came damaged by the delivery company. I contacted overstock who responded within 1 hour of my email! They shipped another bed out within 2 business days. The bed was very easy to assemble, it is beautiful, but it does rock a little if you lean on the headboard while sitting up in bed. For the price it works. Its in my guest bedroom, so it will not get heavy use. The deep chocolate corduroy is beautiful, against my teal walls, my guest love it and I put fluffy pillows on the bed for comfort. The slates for the bed were a little thin and full of splinters, it would have been nice had they sand it down a little. It does require a boxspring so that it sits up higher, a mattress alone will not do.

  I rely on your usual good quality merchandise but I am very disappointed in this product. It is flimsy in nature, assembles with difficulty due to badly written and inaccurate instructions and once put together I fear may collapse with even infrequent gentle use. I quote the "cleaning and care" instructions" as it reads "SURFACE IS RESISTANT TO SCRATCHES BUT IS NOT SCRATCH RESISTANT." Really????

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Extremely difficult and inaccurate assembly instructions. Once assembled it appeared flimsy and I am afraid it wil fall apart upon use.

  First time buyer (very skeptical), thought it was worth a gamble (considering the price)... You always get what you pay for, however, this would be the exception, you get a LOT more than you pay for. I was pleasantly surprised after the bed came in earlier than expected + looked great in our guest room and seemed better than similar beds we looked at in stores (over $1,100.00). Thank you overstock!

  This bed is amazing! I cannot express enough how pleased I am with this purchase. First of all I still cannot believe the price. What an amazing deal. I have looked for a bed that I like for a couple years and they all seemed to be out of my price range. When I came across this one on Overstock I though I was seeing the price incorrectly or that it would be of inferior quality. I though what the heck, if it does not work I will use it in a guest room. I could not be more wrong. It arrived quickly and was delivered to my front door in two boxes. I unpacked them and read the instructions to find it was very easy to assemble. Do not rush the assembly. Take your time and you will be rewarded with a great product. There were more slats then I expected and that is excellent for additional support. The headboard and footboard attach easily. I would say that the entire project took an hour and a half. Not long considering you will sleep on it. The quality is excellent. V...
