I was a little skeptical of buying a bed online that I could not actually lay on first to test, but after reading the reviews I took a shot and am glad I did. My ex-gf had a tempur-pedic mattress that was approximately the same weight and size but she paid around $2500 for, so I was hoping this mattress was similar to that. It was. At 1/5 the cost. First, the mattress comes rolled up lengthwise, like a carpet, but is shrink-wrapped. The UPS label had a weight (queen size) and it said 90 lbs. So make sure you have some help getting it into your place if you are not able-bodied. Second, make sure you have some kind of foundation for the thing, as it does not come with anything but the mattress. My ex had hers on a piece of plywood which was on a bedframe and it worked fine, I simply threw it on my existing boxspring. I read some reviews about the chemical smell, which there was some, but it was not pungent like some reviews I have read on here. I let it air out for about 4 hours and it seemed fine. Also, I bought a vinyl mattress protector from Bed, Bath & Beyond for about $20, and wrapped the mattress up in it so as to keep it new, plus put my existing mattress pad over that. Being 6'6" and close to 275 lbs, it is legitimately one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on, and although I haven't owned it that long, I will update my review if it starts to sag or dip. Google "overstock coupon code" and look for a discount before you buy it, I saved an additional 10% by typing a code in I found online. Anyways, for the money, I would suggest this to anyone looking for a great night's sleep at a bargain price.

I was looking for a modern platform bed at a decent price, and this one fit the bill. The back is high enough to rest your back against when sitting up in bed, but it's not super high. It works for us because our bed is in front of a window, and we didn't want to block it, but the headboard is high enough to put your head back on. Assembly was easy enough, and we've been sleeping on it for about a month without any complaints.

The tufting is great on this bed. The bed is vinyl but easy enough to take care of and actually has the feel of leather. It's easy to clean and maintain. My only issue with it is that the wood slabs under the mattress/box spring are not sturdy and do not hold the bed well. I originally intended to just put a mattress on it and leave it in my guest room but I ended up getting a boxspring because their was no real support for it. The bed does well for guests and I do get lots of compliments.

I bought this mattress for a bed in our cabin. The mattress arrived in a black vinyl bag and I didn't see how it could be the mattress I saw online. Once we opened the bag the mattress fluffed up to become a beautiful, full and very comfortable mattress. The mattress is amazing and the price was one that couldn't be beat. I have purchased many products from Overstock over the last several years and this was one of my best purchases. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

No guesswork here, this bed is exactly as it appears on-line: modern, sturdy, soft, and low profile. Easy to assemble---my husband did it alone in about an hour, everything went together perfectly. It is sturdy--no wiggles, noises, or bending---feels solid, including the mattress slats. It is completely covered in vinyl, but the grade of it feels thick enough to withstand normal wear-n-tear. The headboard is soft and comfortable to lean against, but there is a floor gap of just a few inches that will be dust bunny heaven. The mattress area is also very low, a moderately high mattress is still only about 22" off the ground, and if it were any higher it would be butting up against the headboard "pillows" (not good) so be certain that you're okay with "low". Shipping was a bit complicated as the bed was shipped to a local carrier who, despite being helpful & polite, did require that I arrange to be home for a Mon-Friday delivery (only), so this isn't something that will be done in a week (or two). Overall though, I am VERY HAPPY with the purchase, both in appearance and in QUALITY.

The box it came in was huge but well packed, removing it from the box and assembly was fast(10 min) but mounting to bed took a bit longer. All of the hardware is included to mount it to a bed frame or wall which is nice. I like the adjustable height, my bed is under a window so the lower setting is perfect. If I move the bed to another wall I can raise it up. The vinyl looks like leather and there's about 1" of padding behind it.

The description of this bed frame is exactly what I received. The strongest pro is that this bed is steady and quiet when moving around in the middle of the night. The strongest con is that I had to give away my box spring, since together with my mattress, the bed was way too high! I recommend this bed frame to those who wish to spend a bit less on vinyl instead of leather. You will get exactly what you pay for.

My bed arrived in Miami from Oakland, CA within less than two weeks. I was concerned that it would arrive with some damages, however, it was in near perfect condition. It was easy to assemble and looks beautiful. The platform slats are poor quality wood, and require a cover, or else they will ruin your mattress (unless you want to ruin your box spring instead, which is not needed). Unfortunatley, I had not done any research regarding vinyl products until the day after I assembled the bed, due to an overwhelming chemical scent that permeated everything in the room. Vinyl is a product that outgasses/offgasses. What is Offgassing? Offgassing is the evaporation of volatile chemicals in non-metallic materials at normal atmospheric pressure. This means that certain materials (vinyl) release chemicals into the air through evaporation. This evaporation can continue for years after the products are initially installed which means you continue to breathe these chemicals as you work, sleep and relax in your home or office. After two days, I had to disassemble the bed and physically remove it from my apartment to "air out" for over a week. The bed still has an awful odor, however, it seems to have dissipated a bit. Most unfortunately, is that the chemical gas odor has absorbed into my new memory foam mattress, as well as, all of the other fabrics in my room. My mattress is basically ruined. This bed looks great, isnt the best quality, but is a good price. Be warned and air it out for a long time outside before bringing it into your home, otherwise, it will cost you a lot more when you have to replace your mattress and other furnishings.

I had no problem getting the mattress from my lobby to my apartment...about the length of a city block. Instructions for unwrapping were easy to follow, but in my small city apartment with no cross-ventilation, it was taking longer than 3 days to air out. There definitely was a rubbery odor to it, but as soon as I finally encased the mattress in a vinyl protector (with zipper), the odor was gone. (This is a neat trick for sealing the odor in, because I'm not sure the odor every goes away. I've only had the mattress a few weeks, and I love it. It took about 1 day to reach its full depth, and it's extremely comfortable. I agree with other reviewers who say that the firmness is somewhat skewed. I like a medium-to-firm mattress, but purchased a soft one based on the reviews I read, and it's firmer than I would have expected had I not read the other reviews. If you like a soft mattress, this is not for you because even the soft one is firm. A great bargain for a so-far wonderful product; I heartily recommend it. My only genuine problem was dragging my old innerspring mattress to the basement -- but I accomplished that, as well. Definitely have a platform on which to put this mattress. A box spring won't do the trick. Enjoy!

This bed looks wonderful; looks like leather, not vinyl. A lovely piece of furniture for our guest room. My only complaint is that I thought I had ordered a platform bed, and it is, but it didn't come with the platform (purchased that separately at a local store). The bed was pretty easy to put together, and it has impressed everyone. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, but with the full disclosure that you'll need to purchase the platform additionally.

This bed is great. Very solid. The leather is perfect, not cheap looking at all. Not that shiny vinyl. Easy to put together.. Great bed for the money.

The bed came in 3 boxes, we unpacked the first one with the side panels and immediately noticed that the bed was black. It actually looks pretty dark on the website, but we usually don't rely on the website pictures. We compared the color with anything black and dark brown we could find in the house taking flash and non flash photos along the way. In some pictures it could be seen that the black of the bed was a bit warmer than black of some other items, but it was black nevertheless. Much darker that the furniture form IKEA in color that they call "Brown-Black". The quality of the panel was so-so, the core didn't feel particularly solid, and in one spot we could feel a staple underneath the vinyl. We didn't unpack anything else, so I can't comment on the quality of the whole bed. We decided to ship it back, and overstock customer service was great with arrangements.

Another great purchase from overstock. My sister loves it; my husband even asked why I purchased such an "expensive looking bed" for our 2yo son! Looks great; love the vinyl padded edges, which will likely reduce the chance of injury (for my son). It's low but not extremely low; my son is able to get onto his bed without assistance. Seems very sturdy. Took my husband about 4hrs or so to assemble; comes with lots of slats, which offers great support, but may be a hassle to remove if we have to move the bed. Spring foam mattress & gel memory foam mattress topper fit very well; could't have asked for a better bed!

I ordered both the full size and king size beds in white. The feel is not like real leather as stated by others. It is more like VINYL ! Althought the stitching looks like the high end variety for leather furniture. It was also coated with some oil or conditioner that felt greasy . The individual pieces were light weight and the side rails felt light weight and cheap feeling. Color looked white as expected. The bed was longer than the king matress, making a 2 gap on the head and foot after adjustment. There is no support at the corners for the slats so small items, children, animals can be lodged in there, so be careful. We also reverified the part numbers on the box to make sure we had the correct king size. I may try to use the box springs with the king size bed but the sleek look may go away. The full size bed had no issue with fitment. Matress fit in snug and pieces went together nicely. The assembly was fairly easy for the large pieces. The slats took a bit longer. I used the force of my foot while wearing shoes to snap the black pin tabs into place against the side rail holes. Overall it took me longer to cut up all the cardboard boxes than assembly. The bed is EXTRA LOW, lower than expected. I would recommend waiting to buy nightstands if you are unsure how low you like. Thinking back, I would have paid a couple hundred more for real leather or just a fabric. Although after having the bed a while it does look nice and the greasy coating is going away with cleaning.

This bed was very hard to put together. But once it was assembled it proved to be very stylish and sturdy.

We've been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks now. We upgraded from a coil style with a built-in pillow top. The mattress arrived in about a week packaged like a large tootsie roll. it was sealed in plastic and I wasn't concerned about the rain or snow getting in and damaging it. We opened it up the day before we planned to use it. Instead of slowly expanding, it sort of popped right open into it's nearly fully-expanded state. We probably could have slept on it that night after only a few hours, but we had a new frame to purchase and put together. There was a noticeable odor when it was unwrapped. My wife compared it to a "new car smell." It's not strong like a vinyl shower curtain, but it's there. After 24 hours I could still smell it when I got close. After a week I could smell it when I put my nose to it and when I fluffed the covers. Now, after two weeks, I don't smell it anymore (or maybe I just got used to it?). I know that for some people off-gassing is a concern, and it was for us. That said, this is a very comfortable mattress. My wife and I are sleeping more soundly and I notice fewer aches and pains when I get up in the morning. It's firm, but after a minute it starts to conform to our bodies and I don't even feel it anymore. My wife says it holds heat more than the old spring mattress and I have to agree. We swapped out our down comforter for a cotton quilt and that solved the problem. We also purchased a cotton mattress protector and put that on, even though it comes with one already on it- I think the original one is poly. So, long story short- at this price we have a very comfortable mattress that was shipped quickly, packaged well and, so far, has provided a much more restful sleep than our old coil mattress. We were nervous about buying a mattress without lying on it first, but we're glad we took a chance on this one.

Shipping was very fast and free! Mattress smelled a bit and we left it for 48 hrs on top of our queen guest room bed. It fit perfectly on the sofabed and the sofa sits higher and more comfortable than before. HOWEVER, the review said it was reversable and had the same covering on both sides. NOT. One side is just plain plastic/vinyl covering. The other is lovely, but no problem as this will be used very seldom, it is for overflow company.

I'm very happy with the bed so far, although it's only been used once. I intentionally chose an extra-high bed thinking of visits by my aging parents, and in fact when my Dad went upstairs to put their luggage in their room, he couldn't tell which room had the inflatable bed and which had the regular bed. My Mom slept on it and said it was very comfortable. (Dad had a cough and was relegated to the couch, so I can't say yet how well it accommodates two bodies). I took the advice of some reviewers and inflated the bed several days in advance; that gave the vinyl smell time to dissipate and allowed me to increase the air pressure several times until it stayed fully inflated -- I guess the vinyl needs a few days to stretch to its full size, so for the first few days it appears to lose air when it's actually just stretching out. It was very easy to inflate and deflate, and I had no problem folding it up and putting it back in its bag. And voila! I get a whole room back that doesn't need to be a guest room 365 days a year! So I'm very happy so far. My only concern was that several reviewers on various sites said their bed started leaking soon after they bought it and that the manufacturer was terrible to deal with. So I bought the bed on Overstock.com even though it was not the lowest price I found, because they offer a replacement plan. It only cost a few dollars and was well worth it for the peace of mind.
