Read some of the top reviews. Of course the shelves are removable and of course the back is made of thinner material. It does hold a surprising amount of items. It's your standard overstock item in that the wood is obviously not real and the handles are a little too overly plastic feeling so the low quality ratings come there. Easy to assemble

For the price this is a great nightstand. If you are expecting top quality and real wood, be prepared to pay 3x the price. I ordered two of these and both had slight marring from the package on the top of the nightstand. Other than that issue, everything else was fine. I would love to afford higher quality, but for now this is fine. Who walks around critiquing furniture in someone's bedroom anyway?

I was so disappointed with this bed, only because it was not a standard twin size. One other reviewer mentioned it and I wish I listened to it...the standard mattrass for the twin size is to small for it so there is an extra 2 inches in the width and length!!!!!! you can see the floor from the gaps and you can't cover it with bedding because then it doesn't look nice, this is a low profile bed, you supposed to tuck in the bedding, which will not work with this bed. Whoever constructed it was so stupid because they didn't take into consideration the real standard sizes for mattresses, I wasted an hour for putting it together and extra time to disassemble it and putting it back into boxes, now I have to wait for the UPS to get it and ship it back...what a headache!

The headboard seems well made and attractive, and inexpensive compared to similar headboards, but the attachment holes were non-standard. They are placed higher, and farther apart, than the attachment holes on my frame. I also checked it against the two other queen-size bed frames in our house and it matched with neither of them. It was an issue I hadn't even thought about before purchasing it, because all the other queen-size headboards that I have purchased had holes that were placed at a standard position and fit with the frames without modification. I ended up using some clamps and washers and bolts and nuts to attach it in an unusual way. So far we have used it for two months without any problems, but it will be a hassle to disassemble and reassemble when we move. I would not buy another headboard like this one.

First memory foam purchase. Will never buy a standard mattress again. Highly recommend.

Not super sexy but I needed an inexpensive platform in a short amount of time. If you're not looking for something stylish but will hold a mattress, this is the product for you. Quick delivery and easy to set up. Would recommend.

I have never seen a mattress that was labeled queen rv that was not 60x75. I paid $$$ for expidited shiping to get this for my rv.When it arrived it was just a standard queen and would not fit. If you read the size, it tells you that so my fault for not reading the whole thing. Should be advertised a standard queen.

This is DEFINITELY more grey but read this on the reviews and was very pleased. Only issue was it DOES NOT fit a standard bed frame. We just ordered all new mattress and bed frames for our weekend house and I could not get this to fit in the holes for a queen sized frame. Having the handyman come tomorrow to fix it. Other than that, it's lovely and a great price. Also arrived super fast!!

This bed is great. Easy to put together (though I did have a male friend help me... and do most of it) with clear instructions, and it's pretty with a nice finish. Doesn't match with my dresser which is chestnut colored, but that was my oversight. Solid, good first bed. My one complaint is that it squeaks a BIT when you sit down on it, but for the quality the price is certainly right.

This headboard is advertised with a standard bed frame as the suggested additional item--- it does NOT work with a standard bed frame. I should've read all of the reviews before purchasing. We unfortunately, waited several months before trying it out and now they will not even accept it as a return. So, just be sure that you either have a platform bed or you are prepared to rig it up so that it will work.

They have no business calling this a Queen -- it turns out it's a 'California Queen', meaning it's 5 inches longer than any normal mattress. We were not pleased to have to lug the whole heavy thing upstairs and spend an hour assembling it only to discover this fact.

Good frame but make sure you have right headboard. I ordered a really nice headboard from Overstock and this frame did not fit it properly. I made it work but my frame is sitting on extra support. Don't like that at all and will need to buy another one eventually.

HORRIBLE DIMENSIONS GIVEN. THE DIMENSIONS THAT THEY GIVE ARE NOT STANDARD IN THE INDUSTRY. IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT, YOU WILL SEE A GAP. NOW I AM DEALING WITH TRYING TO FILL IN THE GAPS AND CALLING MATTRESS COMPANIES TO SEE IF THEY HAVE ANY PRODUCTS THAT CAN HELP ME. I ALWAY S THOUGHT THAT A QUEEN BED WAS A QUEEN BED SIZE OR THE COMPANY WOULD SAY WEATHER IT WAS STANDARD SIZING, BUT I GUESS I HAD TO FIND OUT THE HARD WAY. THE BED IS BEAUTIFUL, DON'T GET ME WRONG, BUT THE SIZING IS OFF BY 2"

I love this product, it just isn't accurately sized to fit a standard king size mattress and the frame isn't adjustable. Also, you can't use it with another frame due to the design of the frame. The frame is about 4' bigger than a standard King size mattress causing it to move around. I'm hoping to get a response from the manufacturer on any recommendations to make the frame fit the mattress.

Frame is to big needs to be shorter or a head board to keep your pillows from falling off the bed

The bed has broken twice already and we have only had it for one month. I am pregnant and extra heavy at the moment and do not feel secure sleeping on this bed. We had to hire someone to add additional support to the bed thus costing us more money. Unless you weight 100 pounds, do not get this platform!.

The bed was delivered the next day so the shipping information on overstock was incorrect. The tracking number indicated that the order was being processed but it was delivered and left in my front yard in the rain!! Poor tracking on either UPS's part or Overstock's part. The instructions on the bed were not correct. I have experience putting together *** furniture so it didn't take me long to figure out the error on the manufacture's assembly instructions. Also, the 3 center supports were not properly drilled as the screws went in at an angle. Also, 3 washers were missing. I wouldn't recommend this bed if you don't have a power drill as there are around 30 screws for the support slats that need to be drilled directly into the bed frame. For the price, it's worth it--better quality that ***. A bit more sturdy and easier to assemble that a platform bed I purchased at ***.

I had to send it back because I needed an exact width and their description was not our standard.

Relatively speaking, California king beds did not hit the mattress scene until late in the game. Your bedroom furniture may be beautiful, but your mattress is actually the most important part of your bedroom. You spend a large amount of time in your bed, more than any other single place.
