  i wasn't sure as people mentioned assembly. i got the twin and it just unfolded. very easy to use! since i put it in my van, i had to take off one of the middle legs. just screwed and cut the bar with a hack saw so it would fit over the wheel well. still very sturdy. very pleased.

  i like firm but also need a pillow top as i like to sleep on my sides. this is very firm. added a feather bed topper and am very happy. love the color but since i have a topper and sheets, don't see it.

  God was this thing heavy, was not fun to assemble alone, but it did not take long and there was not a lot of assembling to do (just a few screws really). That being said I love it. I got a new king sized mattress and was thinking of getting a new bed to place it on. I opted to get a new headboard and this instead for a huge savings. It is super sturdy and does not budge even when we plop onto the bed. Eliminates the need for a box-spring and or a bed if you choose. It elevates the mattress to the perfect height so that it is easy to get in and out of the bed. huge amount of storage space underneath if you desire. You could literally fit several large plastic bins with lids underneath. it has great clearance. I am sure this thing will last for years and years.

  I debated giving this guy a four, but after some consideration, I decided to give it a five. I've been waiting for this bed to be back in stock for a couple months now, and sometimes too much anticipation isn't good. Really, though, for the price, the style and construction can't be beat. Is it as nice as a thousand dollar bed? No. But it's still a great value that I'm happy with!

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Spot on. The color is listed as "black," but it's more of a stippled bronze, as shown in the pictures.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Nice quality. Not quite as beefy as the Pottery Barn equivalent, but it's 1/3 the cost!
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very good, except for color.

  The bed did not have any strong odor. In fact when placing my nose on the bed and inhaling I detected only the faint hint of coconut oil (no idea why lol). The bed was shipped and arrived very quickly. The bed reached it's full size in minutes and we were able to sleep on it the same night. This is clearly a very high quality product and very well made. I have no fear of this mattress wearing out or needing replacement for many years. All that being said... I ordered the king sized in soft even thou most people that reviewed this ordered the medium. This bed was not remotely soft in fact it is quite firm. If your looking for plush, look elsewhere. We just ordered a memory foam topper in hopes of offsetting the firmness. It is still a good bed and we do enjoy it but their version of soft is inaccurate. I can only imagine that the firm would be like sleeping on the floor.
