too small to actually be funtional for anything other than a very small lamp and a coaster. Sorry folks, even though nicely handcrafted still a little on the lesser craftsman side.

Not easy to put together. Don't place a cold or warm glass on the nightstand without a coaster or it will get messed up very easily. This product is cheaply made

I purchased two nightstands for our new apartment. The wood is very cheap. You will definitely have to use a coaster if any sort of glass is placed on it. That being said, I purchased the nightstands due to the affordability of the product. All in all, a decent product - you get what you pay for.

A handsome bed and so far I'm happy with it (6 mos) I especially like it is light weight and I have the legs on coasters and can move it around easily to make the bed and/or clean and/or retrieve the dog's ball.

I am very happy with the bed. It met all of my needs i.e. unobtrusive, while giving more functional and useful space. It gives more space to the room. It was not hard to put together and appears solid. I'm going to put those little furniture coasters on the ends and the middle length to make it slide around more easily. I have also purchased the matching night stand.

All solid wood except the backing which is a thin veneer like plate. This was more difficult to install than the matching bed frame. I have many heavy items in the drawer and it does not have an issue at all. Great looking side table. Enough space for a lamp, (2) coasters, several remotes, and a wireless charger for my phone. Great purchase.

I like to leave cold glasses of water out with no coaster - no problem! The top is some kind of veneered finish and doesn't chip off or get bubbly like the walmart furniture. Also, my ex is an alcoholic and has a huge temper, normally he breaks furniture easily during his rampages -- not this night stand! It's built to LAST!!! one thing to be concerned about is the corners - might be a problem for toddlers if they like to wander around and fall over/bang themselves into things.

I was worried that I needed to buy a new mattress and box spring because my mattress was sagging in the middle. Instead I took a chance and bought this frame. Solved the problem right away! I needed the middle support that this frame offers. I'm very pleased with it and it's quality and pricing. I have hard wood floors and was also happy to get rid of my old frame with wheels and coasters and switch to this one and its flat supports instead. MUCH better than wheels.

I purchased this frame after purchasing a queen size version for my nephew. The height of the frame gave me plenty of room for storage. Even with the frame height the overall feel of the bed is low to the floor without the box spring. Using the box spring made the bed way too high for my comfort. I placed furniture movers coaster under the legs so that I could move the bed away from the wall for easy bed making. Over all I'm happy with the platform.

After looking at several much pricier options, I decided to gives these nightstands a chance and I'm so glad I did. I splurged on an expensive upholstered bed and wanted to be sure the rest of the room looked equally nice but my budget was tight. These nightstands are a perfect fit, low key design, easy to assemble and look much more expensive than they are. I use coasters for any drinks because chances are they would incur rings and stains but if you take the precautions, they should last a long time. Great transitional style.

We couldn't fit our queen size box spring up the stairs, but I really didn't want to buy an expensive platform bed because I'm not a big fan. So far, this has worked perfect. We put a normal size bed skirt right on the frame and it's the right length which covers up the militant look of the frame. Very supportive and not noisy so far. My only complaint is that I paid the extra for the headboard attachments and my headboard does not fit them. So skip ordering that. You can make or buy a headboard that attaches to the wall instead and just push the frame up to it. We even have it on a squeaky hardwood floor and I just added some furniture coasters and it doesn't seem to slide around at all.

We got this bed along with the Comfort Dreams Lumbar Support Mattress. The bed is heavy and sits up high enough off of the floor to allow ample storage space underneath. I am a small female, and my 15 year old daughter and I were able to put the bed together in about an hour with no problems. Everything lined up perfectly. We used our own 9/16 wrenches rather than the tools provided to tighten up the bolts. I waited more than a month to write a review to be sure I really liked this bed. It is excellent in every way. It is not at all fancy but very utilitarian. My husband is a big guy and this bed is absolutely sturdy and silent (wink, wink). I bought some rubber coasters to go under all of the legs and it stays put. For the price, this is a great item. Shipping was fast!

The dresser and nightstand are of unexpectedly poor quality. They're made entirely out of half inch particle board, minimally veneered over the unit sides and top, and drawers face. Everything else is rough, flimsy carpentry.A first: they haven't even veneered the bottom edge of the drawer face, and not even stained it. Rough particle board edge. If you sat in a low chair or picked something up from the floor you see its true beauty! The drawers don't have standard, wheeled rails; they just slide by friction, probably sprinkling that wood dust in time over your contents. The inside is made out of flimsy melaminated board of a kitchen-belonging light color. Another first: the unit legs are made out of the same half-inch p. board! They're angle-jointed in an L-shape, with another piece in the interior angle; at the bottom, they actually come apart a little and you see the light (pun intended) through the joint (i.e. through the unit legs)! I'll leave the inside and rear build description up to your imagination. A nice red tag hangs off the first drawer to add insult to injury: "Coaster Fine Furniture". I haven't assembled it yet but the bed unit looks more decently built. I'm no expert in leather imitations but, extrapolating from the quality of the cabinets, I'm not sure how long this thin finish will last, even in a guest bedroom. The bed frame doesn't even come with an underlayment, so you'll need a box under your mattress which might be both a height issue and a significant added expense. Not sure this was disclosed. I was hoping I got a decent deal, then been reminded that you always get what you pay for, if not much less.

Nice bedroom set - love the double-wide dresser, however as with some of the newer styles, the drawer's don't open all the way, so little things in the back are tough to reach. Headboard is comfy and stylish, and the overall look of the bed is sleek. Not really conducive to bedskirts. Main complaint (reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) is the cross-bracing supports. They are approximately 3/4 by 1 1/2 inch boards, with one center spindle about 1x1 inch that really offer limited support. The bed needed to be shifted about 4 inches and the spindles bent. I had to reinforce them with additional boards/center supports, especially because the box spring I got was split, so the mattress caved toward the center. Otherwise, the pieces do seem solid and of good quality. I'm paranoid about ruining the finish on the wood, so I'll be getting either glass/plastic protectors for the nightstands, or some heavy duty coasters. Seems that any amount of sweat on a glass or even a drop of lotion or medicine might mar the finish.

This peice arrived intact within 4-5 days. It was in a long heavy box that was tricky to move. It assembled in less than an hour with a power drill with screwdriver attachment. The directions were clear with good diagrams. I recommend using two people for the assembly as trying to move the peice with one person might put excessive strain on the particleboard joints as you move the peice into position. The composite wood material seems a little cheap on close inspection and the cherry "finish" is actually a paper thin veneer. I'm worried about putting drinks on this peice without a thick coaster. It seems like a hot mug or cold glass with condensation could cause the veneer to bubble or stain. I haven't had these problems yet but I'm being extra careful with it to prevent it from happening. Overall it is a good peice for the price. Solid wood units like this can be 4 times more expensive.

it took two days in our cool mountain home for this mattress to go from the one inch shipped thickness to its full twelve, but is it ever worth it! My husband says it is the first time he hasn't woken up with pain in years! I can get into bed hours after he is asleep without waking him up, as this bed remains perfectly still. Such a change from the roller coaster of a very expensive, name-brand double pillow top mattress, that was 'dead' after 5 years!! We are warm, but not too warm, and no matter where we lay, can feel the mattress come up to surround us gently. As both of us are over 6' tall, as well as between 200 and 225lb, this is such a boon. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good mattress. Already, I have had several friends over to try it out, and they all sigh with relief as they lay down....

Lesson learned! I will never again try to order a mattress over the internet. This mattress gives me a backache! My old mattress had much more support, but lacked the stops "motion transfer" feature. In other words, when my husband turned over (this is a king size), it felt like I was on a roller coaster ride, but the mattress itself was great. The new Purelife mattress is supposed do away with "transfer motion" and that is why we bought it. The mattress is ungodly heavy and difficult to manuver up the stairs and around corners. You really need 3 or 4 guys. It does NOT eliminate transfer motion. It does limit it somewhat. I only weigh 120 and I sink down into it, so my lower spine kills me the next day. I cannot return this mattress and luckily I saved the old one. I perhaps chose the wrong brand or style for us. What a waste of our money!! When you sit on the edge of the bed, it sinks down and you practically slide off.

The nightstand arrived in a timely rate of time. When I opened the box and pulled out the instructions I was very disappointed. All pictures and no text to reference when a drawing might seem confusing. Having now put together my share fare of furniture, I took a decent amount of time to study the pictures. Even then, I made one small mistake, but one that was easily corrected. Beside the problems with the vague instructions I was also troubled by the material. A very cheap particle board with very cheap material covering it. I made the mistake of leaving a glass of water on the nightstand one day. The condensation from the glass dripped onto the nightstand's top, causing it to bubble . I removed it immediately after noticing it, but now I have placed coaster at the same spot to prevent it from happening again and to cover the ruined area. Despite these infractions, the design of the nightstand is very sturdy. The drawers are well designed, and I have had no problem with them sliding in or out, or problems with the inside of the drawer giving out. (A problem I ran into often with Prepac furniture). So, this flawed nightstand is reflective of is afford-ability. But after moving past the headache of putting it together and the cheap material it's made of, it still looks nice and again, the drawers are great!

We love this bed, but we had to make a few adjustments to make it work: 1. Color--It says espresso, but the picture's mahogany color. It's actually gorgeous mahogany wood stained a dark espresso (darker than the picture). It looks almost black with a hint of brown & smooth grain showing through. Looks dark & rich with nice satin finish. (Solid wood frame but flimsy platform slats) 2. Bad Center Support!--It's a short, lightweight piece of wood that runs down the middle of the bed but doesn't connect to anything! It has three legs you screw in, but our bed moved around on our wood floors, and the legs popped out. Then, we weren't even moving, and the center support fell over! We bought rubber gripper coasters for furniture & that seems to work. You have to have the center support or it sags instantly. With the support, the 14 slats seem to hold it fine. 3. Assembly--wasn't bad with two of us (could have done it myself), but we only had about half the screws, and a lot of the holes didn't line up, esp on the center support. We added our own. 4. Height--It's higher than I thought. We didn't use a boxspring, and it was still normal height. It's not high or anything--it's just not low (beware if you have kids that fall out & wood floors!). 5. Seems sturdy now & we love the color. We mixed & matched it with our queen headboard, and it looks great--better than any other higher-priced beds we looked at.

After reading all the mostly positive reviews, my husband and I decided to take a chance and buy this bed. Just so you know, I prefer soft beds and he prefers firm. We went with the firm since several people made the very good point that you can always add a topper to soften a too hard bed but you can't firm-up a too soft bed. It's been almost 2 months and here is what we have found. The firm does soften over time- there is now a ridge of harder foam down the middle that we are working on softening up by cuddling in the middle of the bed and it seems to be working. My husbandís chronic back pain is reduced by about 70% and he is FINALLY sleeping through the night. We are both side sleepers and felt it was soft and comfortable enough out of the bag for side sleeping. My husband is a giant (6'5" and a few cookies over 300#) and I am somewhat smaller on both ends but no fragile flower so if this were a too hard mattress, we'd have noticed immediately. We have a thick mattress cover on the bed and I don't know how much difference that makes but even on the hottest day the mattress doesn't seem hot. It would have been nice to be able to afford a Tempur-Pedic but we can't. This doesn't really feel like memory foam, not like Tempur-Pedic but that doesn't mean it is a bad product- perhaps a little misleading is all. But for what you pay, this is a very nice product and I hope it lasts a loooooong time. And when it is time to replace this mattress we will try to find this again; this is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in- bar none.
