This mattress is so much more comfortable than the one that came with my sofa there is no comparison. The 30-year-old sofa had a 3" foam mattress that was never comfortable even when new. This AirDream mattress has a coil spring base with an air mattress on top, so you never feel the bars or other hardware of the sofa when you lie on it. There is a quilted cover that zips over the air mattress after you blow it up so it looks just like a regular bed mattress. Double sheets fit perfectly. Adding this mattress has transformed my old sofa bed and I won't have to spring for a whole new sofa. Excellent!

This product came as promised. It really feels like a real bed, especially when it has sheets on it. Blows up really fast and keeps its air overnight. For the price it really fits the bill for a portable and confortable bed. For $100 its not going to be a top of the line mattress, but for the price it provides a good night sleep. It has great height off the ground and is adjustable for varying levels of comfort.

I am very pleased with this bed frame. I debated on whether to get the portable bed with wheels that comes with a mattress but decided to get this one instead because of lack of space to store the bed when not in use. I bought an Intex twin blow up mattress to go on top for when family visits. I deflate the air mattress and fold up the bed frame under my bed when not in use. Saves space and feels like a real bed with room for storage under the bed. Glad i chose this one. Well made and sturdy. Guests were happy.

Due to a multitude of back problems, including arthritis of spine, stenosis, etc., I have been sleeping on a big blow-up type airbed for many years. I couldn't sleep on a regular mattress as the pain would extend clear around my ribs and I could barely breathe. I bought a 4 inch memory foam topper from Overstock and put it on the air mattress. I decided since I liked the foam so well, to take the chance and order a king sized 11 inch memory foam mattress. Am I glad I did. It arrived very late in afternoon and I managed to sleep on it the first night. I barely moved the entire night. No pressure point pain anymore. I got the soft one and put my 4 inch topper on top of it, as I didn't know where to store it. That combination might be too soft for some people, but it feels just right for me and I am able to finally get a good nights sleep in a regular looking bed. I read all 500+ reviews here on this site and think I made a terrific choice. I love it!!!

It sets up and deflates so easily. I can't wait to have company over so I can use it. I've tested it and it is so comfortable. Would definitely recommend this product to everyone who is thinking about buying air mattress. Aerobed dissapoints me. This bed is definitely much ore comfy than my Aerobed.

I have been sleeping on a mattress that is used in high end quality sofa sleepers. The mattress is basically an Aero bed blow up mattress inside of a pillow top mattress pad. The blow up mattress is referred to as a bladder and my cats managed to poke holes in the first bladder and the replacement bladder came with a hole in it. I actually thought the mattress that came with my high end sofa was extremely comfortable until I started sleeping exclusively on my new mattress purchased from Overstock.com. I hurt my back two months ago by picking up a bag that was too heavy. I had placed a call to a chiropractor's office and nobody was available to take my phone call, so I left a message. When the chiropractor called me back, I was not home and she left me two messages. I decided not to go to the chiropractor since the last chiropractor made my back worse even though my back was perfectly fine before I went to her. The pain in my back has just about gone away since sleeping on my new mattress from overstock.com. I would recommend this mattress to anyone suffering from back pain as to me this mattress is "just what any doctor would order for back sufferers".

This cost almost half what a furniture store was going to charge me for the same mattress. Instead of paying over $3,500 for a sofa bed at ***** Furniture (think ***** ***** I got a similar couch at ***** (same style, same fabric even), got the mattress here and the the total was only $1,100 for virtually the same couch. I highly recommend an air mattress for a sleeper sofa. I tested it in the ***** store and it blows up via a small motor and quickly deflates itself as you fold up the bed.

Bought our first house and I finally had space for a guest bed. As I was on a tight budget I was not going to purchase a 600-1200 dollar mattress that would get used maybe a month out of the year. It is firm but is excellent quality. If I was to sleep on this mattress every day I would buy a foam topper for sure. My father In Law has used it several times and has no complaints. If you need an upgrade from the blow up air mattress, get this mattress.

I love extra firm mattresses. I cannot sleep on pillowtops are anything too soft. I am a stomach sleeper so I need a firm surface. However, this bed is as hard as the floor. I didn't know that mattresses came as hard as this one here and is way too hard even for me. It shocks me that other reviewers use words like luxurious in reference to this mattress. I could not sleep on it for even one night. The first night I actually had to get up at 2:30am and blow up an air mattress to put on top of this latex mattress because it was so hard I couldn't sleep. I then had to go purchase a 3 inch soft latex topper which cost me an additional $300.00. With the topper, the bed is now still very firm but comfortable. Just be aware that you are getting a bed that is hard as a rock when you purchase this mattress.

We bought this to replace the mattresses on a queen lazy-boy sofa bed and a full broyhill sofa bed. Fit perfectly on both, was easy to blow-up, really comfortable, sheets worked better, and the price was a LOT less than the cost of the same thing from lazy-boy. On the broyhill soda bed, because this mattress is taller than a usual sofa-bed mattress, this air mattress actually helped with a metal thing on the end that supposedly kept the old mattress in place but actually served as a dangerous place to whap your ankles when sleeping. We have not used them a lot because our pull-outs are for guests, but are very happy with the product and price.

I recently moved out to California and was living on a blow up mattress for a while, and once it popped I needed a new mattress asap! I didn't have a car at that moment so I knew Id need to purchase it online, which is a little scary. I'm all about memory foam, so I found this mattress and ordered it. The bed does come in a box, so it was a little awkward at first. They do include with the mattress that it will take a few days to completely "fill out" and it did take maybe 2 days. There is also a kind of weird chemically smell, but that's just from it being wrapped in air tight material. Either way, Ive had this mattress for about 2 months now, and it is SOOO comfortable. I get the best sleep on this mattress, and Id recommend it to everyone.

We needed an extra bed for a houseguest but space was limited. I searched all over the Internet for a decently priced foldaway bed and found this time on Overstock for a fantastic price (saw the same item on another site for almost $100.00 more). The bed was super easy to assemble and can be neatly stored in my attic. We were surprised at how plush the mattress was for a foldaway. It seems a little smaller than a standard twin sized mattress and may be a bit short for a taller person, but it fits perfectly in smaller rooms and when you need a quick place to put an unexpected guest (much more practical than blowing up an air mattress and more comfortable).

I should have known - when do you " but a mattress in a box " ? I thought the pocketed coils would add to the FIRM description but they do not. We have used the mattress for three weeks now and it is getting soft in the middle already. When sitting on the edge of the bed it depresses so much that you feel you are going to slide right off onto the floor. We opened the box and cut away the wrapping to let it expand for up to twenty four hours as directed. After waiting a full day the mattress never assumed a FIRM condition. It was novel to see it suck in air as it expanded on the foundation like a blow-up doll , but , never achieved a FIRM status. My wife and I are light weights and after only three weeks we now realize we blew it royally. Both our backs have started to ache from the lack of support. Would not recommend this to anyone...

It was very cheap so I could not resist in trying it out. Bought it for the extra bed and to take it camping as it comes in pieces. It sleeps great actually has the same effect as my regular Tempurpedic although the quality surely would have to be confirmed over a longer trial. The big problem is that it still smells, strongly and badly. A regular Tempurpedic loses this after a few weeks but this puppy keeps on giving. I would only buy this again for the purpose of camping as its truley comfortable and with all the fresh air the stench is bareable. (Lets just say I would put up with it over an airmattress comfort) But for our spare bedroom use - I have re-instated the old mattress. I guess you get what you pay for in the end.

None of my guests wanted to use my sofa bed mattress in my guest room, so I started reading the reviews on Overstock about this mattress. All my guests really preferred the blow up mattress's I'd had to go and get to make people comfortable, so this sounded like a really good idea. Long story short, it really is just the thing I needed. ( and they needed!) This mattress fits my sofa couch perfectly and though I've only had one guest, he said it was just wonderful. This way the guest can sleep on the the actual fold out, and have lots more space in the room, and a night off the floor instead of taking up even more space in the guest room and having to haul yourself up off the floor each morning. I tested it out myself and was very comfortable, and I like a firm mattress. It deflates very easily and having read the reviews I was careful when I folded it up, but it didn't seem to catch in any part of the frame. I use a thick and substantial mattress pad on this mattress, and the combination of firm and soft seemed to work out very nicely for my guest. When more people have used it I'll have a better idea, but I must say that at this time I am completely satisfied with this air mattress. People can adjust the air to whatever firmness they want, and that makes me feel much more hospitable. A happy guest is a person that will come back to visit!

Bought this for aero bed to get up off ground and look like real bed.It is just as high as a standard twin bed when mattress is added. Surpassed the quality I was expecting! Super strong, I don't believe anyone or anything could harm this frame.I would not hesitate to honestly put a 400# person on it. I was concerned with the quality when ordering wondering if it would "pop" an air mattress, but there are no, repeat, no sharp points on this frame to beware of. It folds up to a size I didn't think possible, will take it with camping to stay off the permanently cold ground in Montana even in the summer time here, and we found to move it as a bed is so incredibly easy and light it's never going to be an issue needing a truck etc like regular beds. Love that the legs are actually hidden under the frame itself so no one can stub toes either! Wonderful buy, don't even hesitate if considering.

My husband and I LOVE this mattress! This is the first matress we have purchased new, and we love it. It was shipped quickly, it arrived quickly and was in a pretty small box. My husband loved opening it- it started t suck on air right away and puff up - it was pretty cool to watch. :) It was normal size in one day. It fits our queen bed. It is not too hard, but it is not too soft either. It is the only matress that my husband can sleep on and wake up without his hips hurting. We absolutely love it! We have a mattress pad over it that is about 1 inch thick and then sheets. It is the perfect mattress!

I love this matress. My only frustration is that it was not clear from the description that you need to either have a platform bed, or buy a boxspring matress to support the memory foam. I bought the Linda queen size bed frame, and have had trouble with the memory foam matress dropping between the support slats. I am going to shore up the frame with additional slats, but it would have been helpful to have a better description for the mattress. It really does conform..haha. The matress arrives in a big roll, and re-sizes in no time, though it does smell a bit. I chose to set it up in the morning with the window open so it could air out while I was at work. It worked., I highly recommend it. Very comfortable. Very warm on cold nights.

I am a professional massage therapist and I have recommeded this mattress to many of my clients now. We ordered this about a month ago and we've been sleeping on it for that long now. I have a bulging disc in my lower back and it doesn't always give me pain. But, for probably 4-5 months before I got this mattress, sleeping in bed was excruciating for me. I like to move a lot when I sleep and I was scared to move because it felt like something was going to blow in my lower back and was so painful every time I went to move. Also, when I woke up in the morning, I was hunched over and my lower back just hurt so badly. I am only 37 and I looked like I was in my 80s. I knew I had to do something. So, I was looking online for a memory foam mattress and saw this on google. I read a lot of the reviews and especially liked the ones that talked about having back problems and how much improved they were with this mattress. So, I ordered. Since I had read about the smell, we put it out on our back patio on some plastic to air it out while it took shape. We left it there for a full 24 hours, which wasn't necessary. It was at the full size much sooner. There still was some smell, but it went away fast and didn't bother us. I know some on this site said they needed some 'breaking in time.' But, I did not. I slept so well on it the very first night. I was so amazed when I had no pain at all and continue to have none. I can move freely while I sleep and when I get up, I am upright with no pain. I know I"m writing a book here, but I just can't say enough positive about this mattress. I am so happy to be out of pain when I sleep. It is very comfortable. I recommend it to anyone with back pain - or not!!

We purchased this for our camper my husband slept in every single day while we were on vacation, even my dog loved it she slept in too .We got it on a sunny day so we set it outside to air out for about 4 hours and we did not notice any unusual smell. My husband and I both had bach aches but on this mattress we didnt. My husband has a bad knee and he said his knee did not hurt when he woke up in the mornings. We are seriously considering buying one for our home bed now. So if your're looking for a new matress get this the price is well worth it , just make sure u have deep pocket sheets for it. GREAT MATRESS BUY IT AND YOU WON'T BE SORRY
Air mattresses have changed a lot. The term "air bed" is commonly used now, maybe because air mattresses really have changed into something that rivals your very own bed in terms of comfort. While not many people are willing to make an air bed a permanent piece of bedroom furniture, they still offer plenty of uses, and you'll never regret having one or two of them tucked conveniently in a closet.
