Hard to get TOO excited about a bed frame. We needed something to get a kid's mattress and box spring off the floor. This is a low cost alternative to buying a bed (i.e., wooden headboard and footboard). It's pretty much like a hotel bed. It's extremely sturdy. The directions could be more clear, but there's not very much to assemble. The item arrived with a broken "glide" (one of the plastic feet--4 wheels, 2 glideds). Overstock customer service replaced it quickly with zero hassle--much appreciated.

After reading the reviews I thought I would give this frame a try. I was very pleased with the frame overall. The box was battered a bit from shipping ... but the frame sustained no damage. Once you open the boxes and remove the frame it unfolds nicely into form. I was very pleased to see the "strings" were tack welded onto the frame, instead of a flimsy pinch and crush process I have seen on others. The height of the unit allows me to store my foot locker underneath it-that was a good surprise. I love the fact it's high enough to store most things under it. It comes in two separate units that you join together with a couple of wing nuts and bolts, and a couple of plastic "washers". The instructions are just a single page picture, kind of disappointing but for the price, I'm ok with it. Its so easy a caveman could do it. The rounded corners have been good.. no banged shins. The supports seem to carry the weight well and with the memory foam mattress I purchased here, the combination works very well. I was hesitant to purchase it sight unseen, but I am glad I did. It's got a very good "bang for the buck" value. Why pay 60 clams for a frame that requires and extra box spring and sits a couple inches off the floor when you can pay a few dollars more and get this one. It sits 12 1/2 inches up so you have nice storage space and you don't need a box spring for support.

King bed frame was easy to put together and fit on our new headboard well. It securely holds two twin box springs and two twin mattresses. It it high enough off the floor for us to store plastic "under-bed" boxes beneath.

Practically no assembly is required, which is nice. The only thing is that it came with a few plastic 'clips' - I guess they were supposed to provide extra clamping action to hold the two sides of the bed together (it's two separate pieces), but they were all broken! There are screws though that hold the two sides together on either end and I haven't had any problems yet (been sleeping on it a few weeks now), so hopefully that will be alright. Besides that, it's a decent bed frame for a great price. Good underbed storage space and bed at a nice height- not too high or low.

We had been sleeping on a full sized mattress that we have had since sophomore year in college, so it was time for a new one! Our house is over a hundred years old and has some pretty interesting angles, we could barely fit the full sized box spring up the stairs so we figured we were doomed to forever be sleeping on full sized beds. I ordered this along with a queen sized memory foam mattress from overstock and it is beyond perfect! The box was very heavy but nothing I couldn't lift up the stairs myself (in my mid twenties, semi athletic, and to impatient to wait for dh to get home). Everything came out of the box and it basically just unfolds into to long sections and then you bolt the two sides together. With the 14 inch mattress its just a bit taller than the old metal frame, box spring, mattress, memory foam topper combo we had before. I hate platform bed or beds low to the ground so this a perfect! The quality is fantastic and the storage underneath is awesome! I was able to store all our large luggage under the bed and I bought plastic tubs to store my extra shoes. I am thinking about ordering another frame in full sized for the guest bedroom just to have the extra storage!

One small plastic bracket cracked during shipping. I tried super glue but it didn't hold. I set it up anyway and it seems fine with the one broken piece. Out of sight out of mind, right?

Had the frame for about 3 months and the center plastics pieces broke off the frame. This causes the bed frame to slip sometimes. Overall quality is low.

This frame has plastic foot stands instead of good quality wheels like I've had on any of my previous frames. It fits the bed and works fine though.

Nice price point for this queen size frame. Frame has center support which is good for larger beds. Frame does not have wheels, but included plastic slides which work well on carpet, but not sure how this would hold up on a hardwood floor. Height of frame base is about 7" above floor, leaving the mattress at about 24 inches high.

Bed arrived quickly and was easy to set up. However the plastic clips holding the frame together broke after about 2 weeks and the frame collapsed. I had to hold the bed together with plastic ties just to get through. Have no idea how long they will last Very very disappointed in this purchase.

After ordering a bed frame from another website, one which arrived with the box torn open and had parts missing, getting this bed frame from Overstock was amazing. The box came in perfect condition with a thick plastic surrounding it to protect it. All the pieces were there. It took about 10-15 minutes to setup. There was one little piece that snaps into place to lock the frame into your chosen position which required a few hits with a hammer, but other than that everything was perfect. We have polished hardwood floors and the plastic feet on the bed slide a bit when the bed moves and it makes a funny noise, but other than that it's a quiet frame.

I looked at a few of these basic bed frames. Sleepy's wanted a fortune for one. I thought this would be okay since it was made by Serta. I use it for a twin bed. It couldn't be any easier to put together, no bolts or screws - just stick the casters in the slots and frame rivets in their slots, stick the plastic covers on the rail ends and your done. Bed fit perfectly. Very sturdy steel.

I liked that this bedframe came with stationary feet instead of wheels, which helps the bed stay in one place. However, it looked a little flimsy when It was all put together. Really, putting the box springs in the frame seemed to help strengthen the frame overall. The feet are plastic and I was a little worried about the quality, but so far so good. I've been using it for a week with my queen sized bed and I've had no trouble with it so far. One thing, though...just like another reviewer said, the middle stabilizer bar needs to be bolted to the bed frame and the bolts/nuts did not come with the frame. Luckily I had some laying around.

We decided to buy this bed frame so we didn't need to buy the foundation under the mattress. We also only are going to use this bed when my child is home from college for the summer and wanted to store the mattress and bed frame underneath another bed. I was able to store the bed frame under one queen sized bed and the mattress under another. We were very pleased with the the bed frame folding in half for storage reasons. Assembly is a snap and having just a mattress on this bed frame works well. It is stable and comfortable. The only drawback is that the arrangement of just using this bed frame and a mattress is that the top of the bed is very low to the ground. We bought some 5 inch bed risers and put underneath the leg supports of the bed frame. However, this made the bed completely unstable and rocked horribly. I would never advise putting bed risers underneath this frame because the leg supports do not have wheels and are thus only about 1 inch round and the bed risers are made to support wheels and are about 3 inches so they leg supports slide around on the bed risers. When the leg supports are on the ground there is enough friction to not have the bed slide around, but not so on plastic risers. The only other alternative to bed risers would be to buy a foundation, but that would defeat one of the reasons why we bought this bed frame. So we are going to use this bed for my 6 year old and let my college student sleep on a different bed while home.

I bought this frame as a gift and they love it. There is plenty of space for storage under the bed and it seams very sturdy. The only issue was the plastic cap on the bottom of the leg that protects the floor was broken, other than that so far it is great.

I purchased this platform bed frame for my guest room. I use it as a daybed. It has a lot of room underneath for storage of linen in plastic canisters. I love that I can vacuume around the legs and there is plenty of room for my vacuum to reach the back.

This is a solid frame and easy to put together. My only complaints are that make sure you wrap the feet of the bed in plastic wrap because it leaves a yellowish stain in carpet and the mattress slides. Other than, it's a good buy.

This was supposed to be an all metal bed frame. but the build quality is quite cheap and a lot of parts are actually plastic. Some of these parts are already broken when i received the item. I would recommend not to buy this and instead invest the money in something better. Even for the price this is not worth it.

The bed frame arrived within the time frame they said it would arrive. It was nice that you can track your order while it is on transit. It arrived undamaged. It was easy to put together. I like the fact that it has about 12.5 inches clearance under so I was able to use the space under the bed as storage space. (I bought some plastic storage containers that perfectly slid underneath the frame.) If you put a bedskirt to cover it, you will need to find a way to keep the mattress from sliding if you move about vigorously on the bed.

I purchased two twin bed frames to use in a guest room. The first frame seemed okay- I wasn't thrilled that many of the brace pieces were made of plastic but the frame popped up easily and closed easily so I figured it would be sufficient for the occasional use it was going to get. The second frame however was a different story. One of the plastic braces was broken as well as one of the hinges. I also noticed that some of the supports were bent. I called Overstock and they quickly sent me a replacement but I had to lug the 25lb bulky box back to UPS to send the damaged one back. All in all, I don't think the frames will last. The use of plastic instead of a more durable material and the shoddy workmanship do not instill a lot of faith in the product. Because I am only using this for the occasional overnight guest I will keep it, but if these frames were getting more use than that I would have definitely sent them back.
