I can't even get mine on my bed. I broke my arm a while back and it is not as strong as it used to be, But this is ridiculous. Has anyone noticed that 3 of the corners are rounded and one is not? I guess that is supposed to make it easier but it doesn't for me. I would return it but I don't have the original packaging. Mine also had a photocopy of the product. It kind of surprises me that Overstock would sell them that way. I have to buy a different one now. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed with Overstock. I can't comment on how comfortable it is because I never slept on it.
I bought this pad to go over my memory foam pad. I have children and a vindictive cat so waterproof was a must. It is so noisy I am afraid to move. I have had it for 4 months now and it hasn't gotten any better. It does not stay on very well either. I would not buy this again.

The mattress pad had obviously been repackaged - it was foled inside out and stuffed back into it's clear, zippered bag and the Beautyrest information included was clearly a black and white photocopy of the original. I don't if it had been used before or not. And it's totally plastic!! I had purchased another spill-proof mattress pad from Overstock a few years that I just loved and this nothing like it. It's plastic on one side, noisey to sleep on and gets really hot at night!!I wouldn't recommend it - I would have returned it but I needed to use it right away. Oh well.
The mattress pad is functional and definitely waterproof, but the plastic lining makes noise whenever you move, which takes away from the overall comfort. I thought it would be more like the pads I had when my daughter was an infant - soft yet waterproof. I suppose I could just get some 6-mil plastic at the hardware store to protect my mattresses from now on. :0/

The plus side, the waterproof part of it. The mattress pad does what it should...but, the protection part also makes the pad harder, i have a 3 inch memory foam underneath it that i can hardly feel...so, i say invest in it if you need the protection, but not if you look for any added softness. It was a very reasonable buy, but you get here what you pay for. I still love overstock :)

Outstanding value. I bought these after comparing several other on line stores and was able to get these for what you'd pay for a single pillow at other stores. Really bought these to be decorative, but will end up sleeping on them because they are so comfy.

Great value, I have a very thick mattress, so I just purchased some "sheet stays" and attached them to the corners to keep the mattress pad in place. The overall quality is good based on the price. I recommend this for protecting your mattress. I have a 5 y.o. who loves to jump on the bed, (in my absence, of course!) This is just in case she brings along her beverage of choice to jump with her.

The quality of this mattress pad is good, but the plastic water proof lining caused my husband and I both to wake up sweating and miserable. We got rid of this pad and replaced it and now are perfectly comfortable. If you need the moisure proof pad you might want to add another on top for comfort.

I bought this just wanting a good mattress cover and the Beautyrest seemed like good brand so I got it. Because the cover is "waterproof" the main layer is actually kind of a vinyl texture (which I wasn't looking for). Had I known that before, I probably wouldn't have ordered it; however, since kids might sleep on the mattress, it turns out to have been a good choice. From my experience, the cover isn't squeaky or noisy, but I can feel that there's a layer between me and the bed.

I purchased this mattress pad because I have a new Naturepedic mattress. Along with the mattress I also purchased a Naturepedic moisture proof pad. The Naturepedic pad is indeed moisture proof, however the top surface of the pad is covered with a terrycloth type material, which stains. The moisture barrier on the underside of the pad keeps the mattress fresh and clean, however the pad must be washed regularly and blood stains are very difficult to remove from the terrycloth. My husband takes a blood thinning prescription medication. The slightest scratch precipitates profuse bleeding, which unfortunately will seep through bandages unexpectedly sometimes at night while sleeping. I placed the new Beautyrest Ultimate Protection Mattress Pad over the Naturepedic mattress pad, and this has solved the problem. The top surface of the Beautyrest Ultimate Protection Mattress Pad is covered with a plastic like cover through which liquids will not penetrate, nor will the cover retain stains. By simply wiping the pad with a anti-bacterial moistened cloth, any stain is gone and the pad is clean and sanitized. The only drawbacks to using the Beautyrest Ultimate Protection Mattress Pad are that there is a very slight
