I bought two of these mattress pads for beds at my cottage. The mattresses are getting a little old and I'm trying to put off buying new ones for a while. The mattress pads increased the comfort of both beds one hundred fold. The quality is excellent and they exceed what I expected for the money spent.
The merchandise pictured -- which I had previously purchased at local stores (now unavailable) -- was not the merchandise received (although the SKU numbers matched!). The quality of the mattress pad (filling and cover) is far inferior to my previous purchase of this item -- but acceptable enough that I did not want the hassle of returning it. It is certainly usable, but disappointing. (There were also a few small dark spots on the sides of the pad.)
I purchased this mattress in hopes of getting a few more years out of our aging mattress and thought that it would be slightly thicker than it actually is, but it's still comfortable. The quality of the material is very nice and silky smooth feeling. The pad is sewn together well and fits our queen size mattress perfectly. Overall it's a good product and a great price.
Good value, nice and thick on top. Slips a bit on mattress though. And, wish it was cotton - my fault for not looking. Overall, good for what I needed it for.
The cover has very elastic edges that fit around the mattress very well and keep it in place. It provides a little extra cushion and support. Overall a good cover.
